About this mod
Despite being a powerful weapon, the AER14's fatal flaw is that it is unmoddable. This mod fixes that problem, and allows you to add a scope to the rifle.

This mod allows you to add a scope to the AER-14 Prototype, a powerful unique laser rifle found in Vault 22. Despite having higher damage output than a typical laser rifle, it's critical flaw is that it is unmoddable by vanilla laser rifle weapon modification kits. This file partially addresses the problem by allowing the player to mod the AER14 with a vanilla laser rifle scope.
Currently, this mod is available as two separate downloads. One allows for adding the scope (and *ONLY* the scope) to the AER14. This version of the mod preserves the distinctive look of the AER14, and adds a custom scope texture matched to the body of the AER14 (big thanks to mhahn123 for the custom texture.) The second version of the file allows you to mod the AER14 with ANY laser rifle mod kit, but uses the vanilla laser rifle model and textures. I'm currently working on merging these two seperate files, but it may take some time.
