About:

Backstory time! Do to life reasons I'm not going to get into, I haven't made or worked on a mod in a few months, but I want to get back into it, so I made this as a sort'ah "I have haven't made/worked on a mod in a while, so I’ll make a small ass house mod so I can remember what the fuck I’m doing" mod. Took Me about an hour, thought it looked nice, so did a little more work on it. This is the fruit of that work.

Basically this mod adds a tent player home to Goodsprings and it's a simple, very spartan player home for a survivalist character or playthrough. Don't expect a million features and a bunch of bells and whistles. This is as hardcore super-lore friendly home, and would be something you'd see in a post-post apocalyptic world.  You got some storage space, a grill on top the "fireplace" as well as a pot of boiling water which you can drink with no rads.

Outside, there is a little front sitting area, some pickable plants here and there and there is also a campfire behind the tent as well as a outhouse. :O Look at the screenshots for more

The key for the tent can be found in the mailbox.

Update I(4/4/15):

- Made small aesthetics edits to the exterior of the tent
- Renamed the tent and map maker to "Survivalist Tent"
- Added a pet baby bighorner 
- Added a small backstory and the remains of the previous owner, Ben Black-Weeds, who can be find in The Devil's Gullet.
- Added a unique set of Desert Ranger armor. The helmet can be found in the tent and the armor on Ben Black Weeds.

Update II(4/11/15)

- Added a uniqueish retexture for the Worn Desert Ranger armor. Screenshot of it here:[X]

Important note before updating:

Before you update, be sure to take everything you want to keep out of the containers just to be safe!

Install:


Use Mod Organizer or NMM!

Or you can place the esp in the data folder with all the others and then place the meshes in the in the "Fallout New Vegas>Data>meshes" folder and the same with the textures, only in "Fallout New Vegas>Data>textures>armor". Open the New Vegas "FalloutLauncher" and look for and check "Simple tent home"


Un-Install:


Simply uncheck esp in the data files in the launcher and then delete the esp in the data folder. After that, delete the folder with the meshes.

However, it's only semi-navmeshed. Outside, they(followers) will run into the walls out front(I'm shit at navmesh and is something I really haven't picked up on yet) If anyone wants to take a crack at that, please do.
