About this mod

My personal edit of MTindles Remington 700

Permissions and credits
This mod replaces vanilla GRA Paciencia with MTindle's Remington 700 and also preserves the Mexican flag on it.
Because I feel the original Paciencia is not worth buying as it is, I decided to do something about it. And since MTindle gave me permission to release his mesh, I've decided to share it with you. Includes an optional scoped version.

GUN RUNNERS ARSENAL DLC is required.

INSTALLATION:
1. Install the textures of Remington 700 mod which can be found here: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/55948/?
While you're there, don't forget to endorse his mod.
2. Copy the data folder of my mod into your steam/SteamApps/common/fallout new vegas folder and enable the .esp plugin in your mod manager.

The plugin is there in order to remove the ''1stpersonweaponmodel'' flag in the GECK and also to fix the wrong shell casing attached to the weapon.
The weapon will look as default in player's hands if the flag is not removed.

INCOMPATIBILITIES: with everything that edits Paciencia. I strongly reccommend you to check for incompatibilities with FNVEdit program.

On a side note, it's really easy to merge the contents of this mod with any mod that edits Paciencia. Open the mods you're using in FNVEdit, find the conflicting mods (expand the Gun Runners Arsenal and under Weapons find Paciencia, click on it and you'll see the mods that edit Paciencia on the right side) and make sure that the changes made to Paciencia by my mod are also in the mod that you want to merge it with. When you do that, save your mod and my plugin is not needed anymore.

I don't know about the merged patch, but I believe it will add the 1st person model flag back and mess up the mod. In any case, the basics of FNVEdit are required here in order to remove it again. If you need more information, let me know in the comments section and I will reply you there.

CREDITS: MTindle for the model and textures; me for editing the mesh and making the plugin.
Bethesda and Obsidian for the game ;)
