Don't like the new torso stagger animation in Fallout: New Vegas? Prefer the Fallout 3 version? This mod reinserts the crippled torso stagger animation from Fallout 3 where your character doubles over, clutching at his or her torso.

There are three torso stagger animations in Fallout: New Vegas and Fallout 3. By default, in vanilla, the first two play only when your character is stationary, meaning if you're moving, only the third animation plays. This third animation in New Vegas, in my opinion, gets repetitive. You stagger and twist 180 degrees. Fun if you inflict it on the enemy or in unarmed combat, but not so fun when you're getting pummeled by projectiles that you can't even move forward.

The mod lowers the chance of this 180-degree stagger from 100 percent while moving to 10 percent of the time for the player character only. The rest of the time, you'll double over instead of turning 180-degrees. NPCs are not affected and will never play this animation.

Compatibility:
Only modifies MTHitTorsoC occurrence condition.
Stagger animation is added as a new animation file PCMT_HitTorsoD.kf - no vanilla animation files are modified or replaced.
