The Deathwish Rifle is a beautiful .45/70 Gov't rifle with three modifications, and one unique, hidden variant. There are a small number scattered throughout the wastes, and the rifle, along with two supplementary ammo types, have been integrated into the proper leveled lists.
- Permissions and credits
Revolver rifles were once a prominent symbol of the old west, known for their range and stopping power, starring in hundreds of films. Knowing this, I was shocked that there was not a single revolver rifle to be found in Fallout New Vegas, so I made one of my own.
Chambered in .45/70 Gov't, this rifle is a heavy-hitter, and easily the most powerful revolver-based weapon in the west. You can't get that much power cheaply though; meaning that only Veterans, collectors, and the wealthy can get their hands on it. Once you get your hands on it, whether by killing a Ranger, raiding an armory, or simply buying it from the Gun Runners, there are three mod kits available for it. They are as follows:
-Mods-
Combat Scope - Adds a mid-range scope. (Hunting Rifle Scope)
High-Quality Cylinder - Replaces the Cylinder with a hardy, gold-engraved variant. (.357 Revolver HD Cylinder)
Maple Stock- Replaces the stock wood with a light, fine maple. (Cowboy Repeater Maple Stock)
-Notice-
Comes with new animations, courtesy of the wonderful Hitman47101! These new animations are necessary for the cylinder to revolve, and the hammer to move. In its rigorous testing, it caused no issues, and blended wonderfully with the Weapon Animation Replacer mod. If you are asked to overwrite, please hit that "Yes" button.
-Compatibility Issues-
There are no known incompatibilities, however, if you download the Millenia Retexture Project version, please understand that I cannot make it use Mill's textures. I apologize. I think it's pretty as it is. This version is stand-alone, and having both installed will cause your textures to go a bit crazy.

-Installation-
You can install as per usual with NMM, or do so manually. In either case, if you are asked to overwrite, please select "Yes" if you would like the new animations. They will not work unless you do so.
