About this mod

Ever irritated by the fact that your character can carry over 100 weapons, 1000's of rounds of ammo, and infinite bottle caps? Yeah.. me too, this is the solution.

Whats this mod do?

This mod makes things WAY heavier, worth A LOT more, and makes most a lot deadlier, in simple words. 

I was very disappointed that my character, a guy that just got shot in the head, could carry 500+ pounds of weight across a damn desert while being shot at and chased by feral critters and people. This mod changes that by a large scale, ammo is heavier and worth a lot more, you were able to buy a .44 magnum round for 2 BOTTLE CAPS FROM SODAS YOU PROBABLY DRANK LAST NIGHT! They are now 40 caps each and weigh .1 pounds instead of like half of a half of a pound. To compensate the changes to the weight and price of the ammo, most weapons have a lot more damage, for example, realistically a .44 magnum will kill you in no more than 2 or 3 shots, that is now how it is, a .44 magnum now does 100 damage instead of 32 damage.

This mod will make melee-based characters rejoice and dance in the love of the desert sun while covered in blood of fallen foes, all melee weapons now do a lot more damage, if you get hit by a sledge hammer I am pretty sure it will hurt you, a lot. So the most dominant melee weapons are heavy melee weapon, they weigh usually about 30 - 60 pounds, but do up to 160 damage. That knife sitting on Doc Mitchell's cabinet in the hallway? Yeah you can actually kill people with that now.

.357 ammo is worth a lot, so you cannot be super OP in the beginning, even though Sunny DOES give you a ton of .556 ammo...

What are some major changes?

-The .44 mganum
-The lever action shotgun
-Melee weapons
-Explosives weigh a ton more but do a lot more damage
-Rifles
-Ammo weight, gotta check how much something weighs and if it is worth taking now
-Mines and grenades are a lot heavier
-Thrown weapons WILL kill you, be wary of the legion
-.22 weapons now can actually kill stuff
-Varmint rifle
-Minigun - OP... it is a damn minigun, they are not feared for no reason
-ALL DLC items are now very handy and compare only to unique vanilla weapons
-BOTTLE CAPS, DRUGS, MEDS, AND SOME MISC ITEMS WEIGH MORE AND ARE WROTH A SMALL FORTUNE!


What if I don't have all the DLC or don't use Project Nevada or Classic Fallout Weapons NV?

There are separate patches inside the zip file so you can choose which mods you want to use.

No, they are not supposed to be realistic or non realistic, they are meant to weigh the player down so they cannot carry 487358956798 guns with them.

Well I am totally ripped and can carry 400000000000 pounds of weight with me across the mojave.

What is up with the .44 magnum and lever action shotgun?

These two weapons were the go-to choice of weapons for cowboys and early police, do you know why? BECAUSE THEY KILL STUFF VERY WELL!
The lever action shotgun now is 12ga and fires a lot slower but does more damage than 90% of other shotguns, has increased range, less spread, and weighs more - Being based of the Winchester Model 1887 Pistol Grip Variant, it is basically a lever action, long range sawed-off shotgun, which is going to mess people up when you shoot them.

The .44 magnum is the .44 magnum, it kills stuff well, so I made it do so, it also is one of the heaviest pistols in the game now.

Why are melee weapons so powerful?

Because melee weapons were too underpowered it sickened me and made my nipples hard.. I am a male, that is not right if it did that, so I changed them so they are worth using now, they do somewhat realistic damage since they weigh a lot more, my go-to melee weapon would be the machete since it is very light compared to other melee weapons but does more damage than most of them as well, just a tip.

STRAIGHT TO THE POINT, WHATS THIS MOD FOCUS ON AND DO EXACTLY?
- This mod makes weapons, ammo, misc, and aid materials:
1. Heavier.
2. Worth a lot more.
3. Do more damage to compensate the weight change.
This mod only affects weapons, ammo, commonly used aid materials like drugs and stimpaks as well as some already valuable misc items like cartons of cigarettes, packs of cigarettes, fission batteries, bottle caps, money (legion, prewar, ncr) and such items. These items have a weight if they did not before, and if they already did they have been made either heavier or lighter and are worth A LOT more as to be the main source of income since you can no longer haul 100 + weapons with you to sell. Ammo is a somewhat viable resource for money, but also weighs a little bit - a ton more than vanilla.
This mod is modular and in saying that I mean it comes in modules separate from one another so none rely on each other, you can use the Dead Money patch without the vanilla patch or JUST the misc item patch for vanilla with no weapon and ammo weight changes.
The different versions are all able to be used together and you have the choices of;
---Classic Fallout Weapons NV patch (makes weapons and ammo heavier and deadlier + more pricey)
---Project Nevada patch (makes weapons heavier and ammo heavier and deadlier + more pricey)
---Dead Money (alters the stats of the weapons in dead money to balance with the vanilla version)
---Old World Blues (alters the stats of the weapons and ammo to balance with the vanilla version)
---Lonesome Road (alters the stats of the weapons and ammo to balance with the vanilla version)
---Honest Hearts (alters the stats of the weapons and ammo to balance with the vanilla version)
---Preorder Packs (alters the stats of the weapons to make them a big overpowered and heavier)
---Gunrunner's Arsenal (alters the stats of the weapons and ammo to balance with the vanilla version)
---Vanilla Weapons and Ammo (changes the stats of the ammo and weapons to be heavier, deadlier, and worth more)
---Vanilla Misc and Aid items (changes some of the stats of some of the misc and aid items wo be heavier and worth a lot more)
INCOMPATIBILITIES:
- IF YOU DO NOT LOAD THE VANILLA ALTERATIONS AFTER ALL DLC AND MOD PATCHES THEN THEY MAY OVERWRITE THE VANILLA VERSION WHICH MAKES IT POINTLESS.

Notes: I have numbered some of the mods to be in the correct order to help you out, just ignore the numbers.
I HAVE CHANGED THE DAMAGEOF A LOT OF WEAPONS IN ALL DLC AND VANILLA TO BALANCE WITH THE WEIGHT AND AMMO WEIGHT CHANGE. THERE ARE SOME SIGNIFICANTLY "OVERPOWERED" WEAPONS BUT HONESTLY THEY DO REALISTIC DAMAGE, THEY ARE NOT OP.

-I personally recommend taking a good look around at the items of Doc Mitchell's house, the prices of stuff have changed a lot and could give you a head first dive into the beginning of the game is used right. 
-Things of value like stimpaks and drugs are remarkably worth a lot more, sell some, you make easy money.
-Take anything doing with cigarettes, they are worth a lot more.
-Take money sourced items, legion money, ncr money, etc - They are worth a lot more.
-Fission batteries, conductors, ammo, drugs, and drinks.
