Rumors persist, that a lone mercenary was hired by NCR to clear Quarry Junction - long before Courier was assigned to this task.

The mercenary took the money and left direction Quarry. Since then - he was never heared about.

Explore the Quarry Junction once more, find out his outcome.


This mod adds a silenced high caliber long-range bolt-action custom rifle, balanced and somewhat realistic.
This is NOT a kill-all rifle, but a junk-assembled realistical AMR for a lone, preferably camo-masked or sneaky adventurer.



Required DLC: Guns Runners Arsenal
Requirements to player: high-level required for extraction and efficient use
Recommended additional mods: Fatique Loot The Unconcious or/and vanilla Mr. Sandman Perk, Chinese Stealth Armor (any mod with stealthfield advances the fun)
Optional mods: If used with Monster Mod or similar - Signature Weapon or/and Boosted Skills

Installation:
Get mod, install in your Data folder, search Quarry Junction for traces.


FNV PLUGIN WARNING:
FNV plugin has an outstanding bug. It does not merge links between ammo effect and actual ammo. You need to add those afterwards in GECK (10 second process). This is not bug of this mod.

Known (non)nuisances:
- Unless you want to tranquilize a deathclaw, do not tranquilize whilst sneaking undetected. Critical sneak damage seem to evade any bullet damage modifier. You are shooting 1cm x 5 cm long projectile at over 15,000 Joule in someones unexpecting face. Even if its leg, the bare power can rip it off. Keep that in mind.
- The yellow box is an optical converter. This gun is made from spare junk - it is not a factory model. Anyone demanding a polished, shiny, remodelled from scratch, factory made gun, inside of excrements of Deathclaw, is free to go troll someone else. This gun does its job and its job is to stop.


















Major spoiler below



- Model based on in-game AMR.
- It uses junk camera for hi-fidelity optics (nightvision built in).
- Camera is powered by side-mounted nuclear cell and several fuses for power flatening.
- Bullets are cold-loaded (shortened casing, less powder), with longer projectile to compensate for energy. Bullets fly at subsonic speeds.
- There are five bullet types, each must be crafted.
- Huge integral silencer combined with subsonic bullets on long barrel bolt-action with supreme optics = fully silenced high caliber long range high accuracy

Damage:
Base Damage is 110, which is reduced due to cold loaded ammo
Absolute silence means VERY high critical damage and high critical chance
Very high stable zoom optics with night-vision
Bolt-action keeps accuracy and balance sufficient

Ammunition: .50 Subsonic Cold-Loaded, 50s CLD

Craftable Variants:
- Basic, higher bullet weight, reduced powder, shorter casing
- AP, stainless steel bullet
- Incendiary, compressed gas and ignition sealed inside bullet
- Explosive, highly explosive HMX inside bullet
- Tranquilizer, altered cazador poison inside a needle

Changelog:
- renamed ammo to make it more convinient and grouped in Workbench
- workaround of basic ammo recipe engine bug
- reduced weight to more balanced 24 lbs (19 lbs - standard AMR; add camera, power supply, suppressor)


Q: Why is silencer so huge?
A: Because its "integrated", like with real-life similar weapons.  Look up "VKS sniper rifle".
