A stash of M1911A1's in Goodsprings!

No new meshes, no new textures, and no nonsense...just gut-punching, knock ‘em flat on their butts .45s. This is just a simple port of the two .45's (.45 Auto and LSitD) from Honest Hearts into the main game that gives Courier 6 an early stash of 1911's in Goodsprings right behind Victor’s Shack. There you will find two lockers with weapons, mods, plenty of ammunition, and a few extras to get you on your way. Consider this a "fix" mod for the HH .45 autos (performance and sound) that provides them to the player up front.
 

These look, of course, like their Zion counterparts, but they perform quite different…and you’ll feel it immediately. Courier 6’s 1911A1’s come in two models: standard 1911A1 and Custom Commander…and you get 4 of each. They have higher rates of fire, extremely tight spreads, slightly higher-cap mags, and recalculated DAM/DPS, with critical chance/limb damage bonus (x1.5) on the standard .45, and critical chance/critical damage bonus (x3!) on the Commander. The standard 1911A1 is mod capable like the Zion .45 Auto. The Custom Commander remains an un-moddable stand alone like LSitD. Both weapons have been added to the Grunt perk list as well.
 These are uniques and are not replacers.

Courier 6’s .45s have been re-sounded with in-game assets to actually sound and feel like GUNS, instead of the bland sounding pop caps so common with New Vegas weaponry. They’re loud and you’ll feel them. They’re strong as well (not to the point of absurdity…well…when your Guns skill is 100, everything’s absurd!), just like the real deal. Just sayin’…don’t expect any apologies for re-introducing an effective, master gunsmith quality weapon into New Vegas...especially one well known for its ability to knock jet-crazed, bum-rushing fiends ass over teacups. If Courier 6 can win a war virtually single-handedly, I think they could craft themselves a better 1911, or find and pay someone who could. 
 

I made this mod for me, because I like .45s and wanted these particular ones early on in the main game, because they are to my liking. These are in no way intended to compete with the many great NV weapon mods on Nexus. It is simply a re-work of existing assets that I happen to prefer. I just decided to release this to the community in the event anyone else loves 1911’s and preferred the models of those found in Zion, but wanted them overhauled and resounded; and also wanted them available, early in the game in Goodsprings.

UPDATE (9 Aug 2014):

NOTE 1:  The focus of the mod remains to merely provide Courier 6 with lore friendly, unique, up-statted 1911's in Goodsprings at the beginning, but I have increased the rate of fire for the M1911A1 at the request of users to match the RoF for the Custom Commander. As such, this was the focus of the update. Bottom line: The M1911A1 now fires as fast as the Custom Commander. 

What else is in the Update?:

*Increased the rate of fire higher for the M1911A1 to give it a more satisfying feel. Slightly lowered DAM, but increased DPS. 
*Increased Critical Chance and Limb DAM on the M1911A1 up to +2 each.  It retains its Critical Chance Bonus. 
*Recalculated the DPS slightly higher on the Custom Commander.  
*Increased the Limb DAM on the Custom Commander to +2. It retains it’s +3 Critical Chance multiplier, as well as Critical Chance and Critical DAM bonus. 
*Tightened spreads for both even further (its not a zero angle, but its darn close—Sorry, no laser attachment, but they are super accurate).

NOTE 2: After testing by the community, we have found that both pistols are compatible with WMX and WRP! The M911A1 however is affected by the front sight bug common to all .45 autos when equipping the supressor on the M1911A1 while using WMX. With this bug, the front sight moves out to the supressor when it is equipped. This bug is not unique to this mod.
