About this mod

You can buy high powered visible implants from New Vegas Medical Clinic.

Update!   New ELECTRIC! version of Combo Mesh Allows you to wear BOTH the Exo-Arm and Exo-Glove along with the awesome ELECTRIC! Tesla Arc Field without using more equipment slots.
This requires purchase of the Exo-Arm from Dr.Usanagi.  It also raises the price of Exo-Arm combo implant to 28000 caps.  And it weighs 10 pounds and has a DT of 3.
You can get it by asking Dr. Usanagi at New Vegas Medical Clinic about 'not being strong enough'.  She will help you as she always does . . .

ALL COMBO
VERSIONS (Including ELECTRIC!) of Exo-Arm Implant grants +2 Strength, +15 to Guns, +15 Energy Weapons skill, +30 Unarmed and +30 Melee damage.

Regular NON-COMBO version of Exo-Arm Implant IS NO-LONGER IN STOCK AT NEW VEGAS MEDICAL CLINIC due to FALTERING SALES FIGURES and lack of PUBLIC DEMAND!

Stop Crying about the price, if Dr.Usanagi ever figures out how to boost the Tesla Arc Field to mitigate incoming Energy Weapon Damage
- She will raise the price to 40000 CAPS!!

Oh, btw - there is an alternate black textured version of the Female Exo-Arm in the files section - it looks pretty crappy tho' cuz the vertibird textures are like super EXTRA low rez - I'll try to make better ones by next year - which would require that I actually LEARN how to texture in the first place - sorry.

Sorry it took so long to make this, It's much harder than making regular armor because it does not take up the Upperbody slot meaning that the player's body and armor are still present and visible so that it has to mold around the player's body and extra armor that the player can wear in a semi-presentable fashion - but it will still look like Hot Brahmin dung with certain armors - especially if they have shoulder pads - nothing I can do about that because I would have to make a version for EVERY armor in the game which is hundreds (That's why you were ALL given Permission to use and modify the meshes!!  :)

The Tubes Look Ugly When Your Character Aims!  - There's nothing I can do about it - I'll add an optional version that removes them later if it bothers people too much - That's a limitation of the Fallout skeleton and animations - which is also why cool things like pistons, hydraulics, and gears can't be animated in Fallout.

This is the first prototype - I'm not 100% satisfied with it but I figure better to release it rather than have it sit on my hard drive where it can be lost in case of computer crash.  Besides some of you might want to playtest it anyway.  It is rather Industrial looking and bulky and probably not to everyone's taste - Don' worry I'll be releasing more versions including sleek and sexy 'assassin' models (that's a lie - cuz the others will probably be bulky too - because they do not replace the upperbody mesh) and different textures.  The Exo-Arm uses vertibird and Incinerator textures so replacing these textures in your game will affect the Arm
Implant too.

I know they look rusty - different textures are coming later.  Rust is good for your diet.

The Exo-Arm Implant uses Bodyaddon 2 slot - which is a pain in the ass so I included an optional file that replaces the Exo-Arm mesh with a combo model of the Exo-Arm so that both implants will take up only the right hand slot!!  But it requires that you buy the Exo-Arm first.  WARNING!! Using this file will REPLACE AND OVERWRITE the Exo-Arm mesh in your game - so use only if you are SURE you want to wear both to free up body/equipment slots.

Thank you for your patience and support - The Brahmin thank you.

P.S. - Everybody give a thanks and kudo to MutieBlaster for making the cool modular version of this mod - hopefully he'll figure out how to make awesome effects like accuracy and attack speed/reload time upgrades for this new implant.

The Exo-Glove Implant grants +1 to Strength, +15 to Unarmed and Melee damage. The item can be obtained by talking to Dr.Usanagi at New Vegas Medical Clinic by choosing the dialogue option: 'Do you have anything to make me stronger?'

The Cranial Implant (yeah original I know) is very obtrusive to your facial features and will alter your character's appearance drastically - but I did not have it affect charisma negatively because I think those who seek these types of augmentations see great beauty in them - (plus they're freekin cool man! They're like totally cyborg dude!) - anyway the implants cost 12000 caps each so they are a luxury item, late game - seeing as how they're on the overpowered side.

Cranial Implant will enhance both Intelligence and Perception by +1, and increase critical chance by +5, AND allow you the use of +15 action points
due to it's Central Targeting Neural Computer or CTNC - one model includes the mini-high frequency sonar emitter found on the side of the riot gear helmet, while the second model substitutes that for a laser target analysis module instead. Micro-processors will greatly enhance any sluggish reflexes or alcohol withdrawal your courier may have been born with (in other words it hits a LOT faster than you will cuz it's a friggin' micro-processor). Plus it has several therabytes of archives detailing mechanical technology principals, engineering patents, and all known chemical explosives, propellants, incendiaries, toxins, wildlife, etc. . . so it can make your courier seem a little less stupid.

EACH implant costs 12000 caps - meaning you better have 24000 caps if you wanna install both. I don't care if you can't make the payments and neither does Usanagi.

I'm sorry, I don't mean to b insensitive to your apocalyptic financial situation - for those who are having difficulty acquiring the caps for these luxurious high-end implants, there is a helpful mod called: "Animated Prostitution" which allows your character to sell themselves at the risk of contracting STD's in order to earn money, but HEY - it's WORTH IT for implants right   :)  ?

Updates:  Don't pay any attention to this part it's not important cuz it mostly highlights people's mistakes and/or drunkenness.

Please download newest version (though they are all labeled the same) - Sorry about the missing texture!  I beat myself with a rusty pipe for a few minutes to make up for the pain I've caused you.

Non-Laser version 1.1 has a mesh fix which prevented head tracking during weapon animation, so please use newer file to address this issue.  Thanks to WizardOfTheLawl for pointing this out.

FEMALE mesh has finally been completed and also a new optional file for characters with wider head/ higher eyes than default - it's not gonna fit perfectly for everyone's face but I will include more variations later on to try to accommodate people's couriers.  Also people are fully welcome to upload their own variations of the files so long as you credit me.

The cranial implant uses Bodyaddon 3 slot so it might take the place of other armor that also uses that slot. This can be changed in GECK within seconds. Lemme know if no one else will do it for you. Plus the laser targeter addon for the cranial implant uses Choker slot. Also it doesn't magically conform to your face - so if your character's face doesn't look right with it - well it just won't.

MutieBlaster's New Experimental Version:

Just uploaded an overhauled version of the original as an optional file. Instead of choosing between laser and non laser, you now buy a basic implant with a smaller model and no laser.
You then have the option to upgrade the implant with a laser module, a vocal enhancement module, or both.

The basic implant now gives +1 PER, +1 INT, +5 Crit. Chance, and +10 AP.
The laser upgrade adds +1 PER, +5 to both Crit. Chance and AP, and a Boone's Spotter Perk style effect.
The vocal upgrade adds Water Breathing, +5 Rad Resist, and +2 CHR.
This means that adding either upgrade alone will result in having the initial bonus plus the addon's effects, and adding both will give the full works:
+1 INT, +2 PER, +2 CHR, +5 Rad Resist, +10 Crit. Chance, +15 AP, Water Breathing and Spotter Effect.

The spotter effect has been tested with Boone, and although it should be ok 90% of the time, sometimes firing Boone while wearing the implant can disable both spotter perks. If you get this problem, Dr.Usunagi will fit you with a new laser module free of charge.

For those using the HW female version, I have also uploaded compatibility meshes which have been renamed to work with this experimental version.

I'll be uploading some example screenshots to the images section so people can see the different combinations now available. If this version is popular and bug free, hopefully future updates like the upper arm model will also feature this kind of functionality along with possible Project Nevada functions.

Permissions: Meshes and Textures are property of Bethesda - do not sell or redistribute with criminal intent.

P.S. - Almost forgot: Credits and big thanks to Dimon99 - creator of original Type 3 body for female hand mesh.

Lemme know if you want to improve this mod cuz it needs it. PM me cuz I just like to see what strange mutations can occur in other people's hands and if I don't get back to you in 1 or 2 days - permission is automatically granted - just credit me tho - cuz it was a female dog and a half to make some of this stuff.

P.S. - This is my first real mod so, Sincere thanks to all the old-school modders whose work I've been following for years, the bulk of which make this game what it is, which is the best I've ever played thanks to the ever evolving community here. People like Gopher, Chucksteel, NMC, The FOOK and Project Nevada crew, Project Beauty, ArwenEve, both the weather crew Fellout/Nevada Skies, the perk modders, the perv modders (lol you know who you are), and of course everybody who ever introduced a new weapon to Fallout to kill something with (it wouldn't have been as hellacious without you guys), but particularly my thanks to all the armor modders out there like Blackblossom, Tumbajamba, ma0142, phildog, Exeter, Nivea, Dragbody, Brothershogo, Daejones - your work is what got me modding in the first place and through the painful process of learning how to use Blender. Plus a sad farewell to some who aren't here anymore, but sorely missed.
