Description

I always hate it when you get stuff essentially for free. When other modders make fantastic homes but you can just walk in and claim the place. With this mod I aim to provide a somewhat worthwhile mission to obtain the house.

I have made a shorter quest which I estimate to be around 10 to 15 minutes depending if you walk there and if you have not cleared the fiends territory of them. To start the quest activate the either the front or back door, Then have a look near the house.

There are two versions of the mod, one that requires the Sortomatic and one that does not. Obviously if you do not use the Sortomatic, use the Sortomatic-free version.

Detail

This house contains several features, the features it has will also depend on which version of the mod you have.

In the basic version you have...
  • A fully working shower with a special effect.
  • Several custom containers.
  • A working mirror which you can change your hair style or facial hair.
  • Your own personal bed.
  • Fully navmeshed so your friends can come inside.
  • Map marker for your convenience.
  • And most of all, a working garden in the back.
In the Sortomatic version you also have...
  • A working display function, which displays your personal items in your home.
  • An automatic sorting system.
  • Fully customizable container system. Now you can be in charge of where your pistol goes!
  • The three main crafting stations are Sortomatic ready.
Location
This is located north of the Sharecropper Farms. To be more exact, it is located almost in the middle of the East Pump station and the Gun Runners facility.
Incompatibilities
None that I am aware of, I made sure to check the major interior adding mods before creating this to make sure of that.

Credits

I would like to thank the following people for their help, whether direct or indirect, with my mod.

Jokerine for her wonderful Misc Resources Modder's Resource and the Forever Free Modder's Resourcein which all the decorative static items around the house are from.

Chucksteel for his Broken Down Benches Modders Resource and his help with getting the GECK to stop loading all these DLC.

SpeedyB64 for his Speedy Resources which allowed me to have a custom sink, which looks very nice.

Brisea for their Foggy Mirror Resource which gave us the nice looking mirror in the bathroom.

Coneman for their Working Toilets mod.

TAJocelyn for their Beds part 1 and part 2 mod.

Tunaisafish and Gribbleshnibit8 for the Sortomatic.

Hengebob for his STmoddersresources which gave us the nice locker and shower.

9Loki for their Desert Combat Armor.

My friend clintbro1 who helped me with lots of the grammar and the tedious language tidbits.

Belthan for his constant help over in the Mod help section. He helped so much getting this project somewhere. If he didn't help as much as he did I probably couldn't have made this.

Changelog

Version 3 : (Hopefully) Fixed an issue where Noah wouldn't spawn correctly. Fixed this by adding a note that would spawn along side him instead of in his inventory.
Added a few new items from Jokerine's newly released resources. Namely a new bed for the player, a new end table for the players room and for the companion hall beneath. A few smaller pieces added inside and out as well.
Fixed a mesh issue with the terminal inside the house (I pointed the object to the wrong place)

Version 2 : Added static items around the house area to give more depth
Created a fully navmeshed basement for companions
Revamped the exterior of the house, eliminating the garden while replacing it with static items

Version 1 : Initial Release

Installation

Installation can be done with either NMM or Mod Organizer. Simply click the download with manager button and activate the archive and you are ready to go.

Mod Dependencies

The sortomatic version absolutely requires the sortomatic. No if-ands or buts about it. There is a version for people who don't want to use the sortomatic. http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/41142/?
