While playing Honest Hearts, I discovered that there was only one primary merchant (sure there's Daniel, but he's only got a couple of chems and not much else). As a serial loot hoarder, this posed a great problem for me, as there simply wasn't enough caps to go around for all my junk.
After looking through the mod selections for something to give Joshua Graham extra caps (there were a couple for vanilla, nothing for the expansions though), I decided to give GECK a whirl and try to work out for myself how to do it. I think I managed to get it to work :) so I thought I'd share it here for anyone else who might be in the same predicament as me.
This just gives Joshua Graham about 30000 caps on refresh. I read on here in various places that much more than that (32767 to be exact; it would seem merchant caps are stored as a signed 16bit int) causes problems with merchants not handing their caps over when they buy stuff, so I played it safe. Of course it required Honest Hearts to work (if you don't have Honest Hearts, why would you want this? :)).
