Changes Rex from a transhumanism-incited abomination into a lovely normal, but special dog; and implements slight improvements on Rex's combat style.
DESCRIPTION: Organic Rex mod changes Rex into a normal dog, with a slightly different pattern from the game's vanilla dogs and a different color from them too, so he can stand out from your average dog in the game world. The mod also implements a few improvements and tweaks in Rex's combat style, so that Rex can balance the behavior of a melee-fighter follower, with the behavior of dogs in the game.
There is another mod for Rex called "Alsatian Rex", which does something very similar to this mod; but that mod does two main things that I consider to be wrong: 1. It uses the movement sounds of the robotic Rex, which is incompatible with the new organic look and can be jarring; and 2. It changes Rex's combat style to that of an average dog in the game, and this means, for example, that the Alsatian Rex will not try to avoid grenade or car explosions—I believe your game pet should be smarter and better trained than that. Organic Rex mod avoids these pitfalls, and goes a little extra to improve and tweak other settings.
