I wanted a weapon in FVN that fires like the FG42 in Return to Castle Wolfenstein. I didn't find anything here, so I made this little mod.

The small file only changes the stats and sound of the Automatic Rifle. It was not really useful before, now it's much better.

Damage: 40, same as before
Health: increased to 1000
Fire rate: reduced to 4.0 (from 6.0)
Spread: reduced to 1.5
Min. Spread: reduced to 0.5
Animation Multiplier: 0.6
Attack sound: changed to sniper rifle

Modification increases Clip capacity from 20 to 40

1. Extract the file to a temporary location. Put the AutoRifle_to_FG42.esp file in the New Vegas data folder.

2. Start Fallout New Vegas Launcher, or mod manager of your choice. click "Data Files" (If using launcher) place a checkmark beside AutoRifle_to_FG42.esp
