This small mod removes the skill point gain per level from lvl 30 onwards.
You will still level and gain perks.
It keeps the developer's skill point balancing from the vanilla game but removes the 'jack-of-all-trades' effect from the rising level cap in the DLC packs. It should affect all skill gain per level up, no matter your Intelligence or perks.
So plan your character's skills as if there still was a cap at 30!
I did a lengthy search but could not find anything like this. If it already has been done, sorry ;)
###
There is two versions:
HighlevelNoPoints - removes points past level 30
HighlevelOnePoint - gives you a single skill point per level past level 30
###
The mod works by adding a hidden perk on level 30 through a quest. So you will get a quest message at that point (but the quest should not be visible in the list). It should not conflict with anything that does not alter the skill point system.
However I am not enough into the inner workings of FNV and the GECK to consider every possibility - use at your own risk and all that^^
If you do find any problem with it, please post here. Also, you may do with this mod wahtever you want, except anything harmful, especially to me ;)
