GoodSprings Merchant and Mechanic Part 2 - Complete version

Goodspring's Faction
Custom Race.
Custom id changes. To avoid conflicts.
Repair Services
Merchant Services (standard refresh like other merchants)
Sound and lip synch.
Lore friendly storyline.
Added Quest: The Dead Don't Talk (A multi-stage quest, that awards "Questin' Mark" and Goodspring's Faction points.)
Custom weapon. The Stinger. A close quarter defense weapon with mid-range firing ability. Still slightly lower damage than a (GRA)Plasma Pistol
but it makes up for it in ammo capacity, range, firing speed and dps. With a flawless reload system guaranteed not to jam.
Restored cut characters and content, including a throwback reference to Fallout2 and Fallout3.
Custom bosses.
Unique perspectives all based off a common goal.
Collect the clues, find out fates and maybe even learn something new. It doesn't hurt to try.

Start in Goodsprings. Leland can be found roaming the rear area near the old
trailer and the graveyard path. Find him and your story begins.

Changes 1.2: To make it more lore friendly.
Lowered Repair skill
Adjusted trader levels of caps and items.
Corrected small typo near the end of the quest.
Boss stat adjustments to make them more challenging.

Install

Use your mod installer to install.

Manually:
Place contents in the game Data folder and activate the plugin through the game launcher, under the data option.

Put in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\fallout new vegas\Data.

For those having trouble at the start of the quest line remember, clues appear after some triggers. Make sure you have looked at the scene to
know you have a clue, the triggers set the clues off in some areas not the quest, the quest leads you to the scenes.
Thanks all

What secret does the Nevada MysteryMan hold? Try the mod and find out, a little something for everyone.
A Choose-to-Do storyline.

You either help him or not, but you still need to listen to the opening story if you want his services at least. :D
This mod does not alter the games environments in any way, merely adds content to existing environments. (Tested with over 40 other mods including AWOP, MMUE 7, Project Nevada and now NVEC).
(Blistt - As far as I can tell, everything seems to work even with the other 100+ mods I've got installed (not an exaggeration). :D) wow

Like an investigator, you must sometimes, go to the scene marked in your guide before you can get the clues. With that said, make sure you have activated the stage before expecting the clue, it doesn't always work that way (clues will always be within view of the trigger, most will be between a boss location and the trigger or pretty close, remember what would you do given the situation and where could you hide, it's a wasteland, pretty sparse) :D.
Leland is at the rear of Goodsprings, just walk around the outer edge of the saloon to the house behind it with the trailer, he walks all around in front and sometimes inside the trailer.

Remember: Things aren't always hidden, they just aren't where we expect to find them. Carinth

For those that have been stuck finding the third clue, this can be found on the wing of the parked planes at the airport.
If you are using a mod that has removed the planes you may find it difficult to complete this part.

Below pic with AWOP installed.

*Red Cross mod test thanks to Balweg who said,
yeah found him sitting in the chair of uncle martins house ( red cross mod) great mod...finished the quest...very nice voice acting...hope you can make him a companion. with the voice and all. kinda reminds me of the movie SOLO. :) endorsed.

Here's just some of the things you can expect:
Custom creatures and bosses.

A custom weapon.

Usable with all standard 10mm SMG accessories.

The Stinger (A Commonwealth Institute Innovative Design.)
Increased ammo capacity of 36 rounds (46 if modified)
Faster firing speeds with increased damage per round(DAM) allowing for overall greater damage per second (DPS)
Flawless reload system designed with the help of our AH community that will work even in the poorest of weapon conditions.
Varied weapon ranges to allow for closer or further firing ranges when needed.
Easier handling requiring less strength with reduced weight.
With this you can provide cover or quick work of opponents, so keep it close.
(The small "m" in SMG is because it's compact)

The VBP model is the perfect weapon for our pilots, adding both offensive and defensive ability when it's required. With the enhanced design and more readily available munitions type we have determined this to be best suited for a pilot's needs. (Signed Dr. Zimmer, Institute.)

Restored Content.

and even a little bit more, it doesn't hurt to try, solve the mystery and maybe even learn something new.

This will take you on the same path that leads to Willow and will help lead you to her first clue by taking you on a similar path of travel with this quest. Helping her in her search for lost items.
*If you cannot find The Stinger, check Willow's inventory. She has been found to pick it up on occasion. (Thanks to JONA for that info.)

Any problems please let me know in comments, thank-you.
A first try quest-line by me, Carinth01 (Nexus)
*Original mod and notes including my progress notes can be found at the original mod that started it all and which led to this.
Although this mod is based off the original they cannot be run and should not be run together.

Personal thoughts:

I created this mod as a way of linking older content with newer content within the Fallout story lines. It was also a way of expressing an idea I had towards Fallout 4 since so many have expressed different scenario's, and past scenario's have been left out, it leaves a lot of story gaps. This is both an interpretation and possible lead in to a Fallout 4 story I had and I hope you enjoy my mod and interpretation of Fallout events.
Based on the response I get back (which has all been amazingly positive) I will consider working on and eventually releasing the full uncut works, which will include cut out clues and areas. (After the Holidays:D )

Many Thanks

To Nofsdad who said:

One of the best quest mods I've seen and I hope only the beginning. I would make one request though... if you continue the story PLEASE don't make it dependent on any or all of the DLCs. I can't afford them and I'd hate not to be able to continue.

First, thank you. And no worries I will continue this within the normal areas of New Vegas.

And thanks to all for your positive comments.

One last thing CONGRATULATIONS to Monstercookie for being the first one done:D
(Virtual High Five and I gave you a Kudos)

Just look how happy Bella was to see me finish this quest:D

*The Restored VBPilot and Scorpion Queen are only placed in the mod, I have attached no scripts or markers to alter them in any way, they are as Bethesda made them and cut them.

Thanks to Nexus and the Nexus Community.

Please enjoy the mod and story.

Closing note: Although this was made before Fallout4, amazingly Fallout4 later turned out to be exactly as I envisioned it and set it up to be in this mod.
I am happy it turned out as it did and I hope you will find this entertaining.
