About this mod

More realistic (read: annoying) backpack. Carry weight is unlimited(for now). But... - You have to drop it to acess it, - You must wear it or drop it (doesn\'t fit in any pocket) - It makes your aim a bit wobbly, - Makes you move slower, - You are less sneaky. However: - Bedroll free of charge, - Camping gear included.

Permissions and credits

This is a simple but entertaining mod, it took me about 20 minutes to make it and I use this
Backpack myself for about a year, just now I decided to improve it and release it on Nexus.
I bet, there are more of you guys who'll like it's features which I couldn't find in any other
Backpack mod.

It comes as it is, if it suits you, endorse, comment, say "Thank You". but if it doesn't suit you.
Uninstall this mod and don't moan.

Before It had no association anywhere in the game world and the only way to get it, was to open
console (press the key above "TAB") and type "player.add item xx00084d 1" (replace "xx" with this
mod's load order index). You can still get it the same way if you are too lazy or otherwise cannot
be bothered to pick it up from where this guy left it.

You can find it inside Nevada Highway Patrol Station , it belonged to a guy captured by some
raiders, they locked him in a cell and watched how giant mantises ripped him to pieces.
Good riddance, because he stole this backpack from Arwene, Mojave Express courier (my first NV
character) who was given a task of delivering two parcels to Vault City.

Chances are, she won't need it anymore, so you can safely take it for yourself and use it,
it's really handy. It has:

- Usable bedroll tucked at the top
(no "Well Rested" however, unless you've got "Rough'in it" perk from Lonesome Road.)

- Camping gear stuffed on both sides
(cook your own grub wherever you break a camp!)

- 200lbs capacity,
(but most likely unlimited, due to an in game glitch, but no worries, it also got some drawbacks...)

- Weapon spread increased by 15%,
(Heavy block of military gear on your shoulders and back WILL make your aim
uncomfortably bad, I know that from my own real life experience. period!)

- Makes you move slower by 10%,
(Yes it will! Certainty backed by the same experience like above, same applies below.)

-Sneak skill reduced by 10.
(Come on, nobody will mistake you for a "Big Moving Backpack Lying On The Floor" and ignore it.)

You'll figure it out how to use this piece of kit most effectively. Since it has this game breaking
capacity, it must also have levelling it drawbacks, I usually drop it somewhere safe when going
into action, and pick it up after clearing the area. Yes it involves dropping it to get anything out
of it, (isn't it the case with real backpack anyway?) and getting to menu mode and right clicking
on it each time you want to make a sniper shot, but playing in hardcore mode means you have
to do it (going to menu, not dropping backpacks) all the time anyway. :)

=================================CONFLICTS & BUGS================================

No conflicts with anything unless it modifies the "Nevada Highway Patrol Station" cell.
For most of it's life this mod didn't even have any Parent Masters (it worked with both F3 and NV)!

There is one nasty clipping issue with any back holstered weapon, but I can live with it,
so can you! If I find out how to mod Holster animation, I'll maybe do something with it.
Also:
I play with Type 3 body and usually wear light/medium armours, therefore it's optimised for such,
this backpack is moved closely towards character's spine, this may look weird with Heavy
Armours and I never use miniguns, or other Weapons with it's own backpacks, not sure how it'll
look, chances are, it will be equipped instead of weapons own backpack.
