Changelogs
The Surveillance Post:

A former Enclave surveillance post used to gather intelligence on the activities of Mr. House and the Mojave environs. It uses a combination of forcefield and holographic technology to remain hidden from the outside environment. The operative that was assigned to the post died during an attempt to penetrate the Lucky 38. Before a new agent could be sent to continue the operation, the Poseidon Energy oil rig was attacked and destroyed. The post has been vacant ever since.

The player house mod includes a fast travel marker, bed, working oven, workbench, reload bench, fresh water and several secure storage containers.

See pictures for more information on access and location.

Install:
Just drop into the /data folder of the Fallout New Vegas game directory.

Requirements:
Fallout New Vegas

Complimentary Mod Recommendation:
Mobile Auto-sorter http://newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=43412 makes for a good addon for The Surveillance Post. It is a sorter system that you can set up at any containers you wish. Give it a try!

Optional File for Dead Money:

Added a Sierra Madre Vending Machine to the place. Also changed the script so the Complimentary Caps for winning at the casino go directly to the player, instead of the Dropsafe at the Abandoned Bunker.

Optional Files2: Added a Courier remodeled versions of both the basic and Dead Money files.

OPTIONAL UPGRADE: The Enclave Experimental Surveillance Teleporter. A simple device that, when equipped, will teleport the person from thier current location to the Surveillance Post. Unequip the item and they are teleported back to their starting location.  The item is an armor peice that takes up the earrings slot and doesnt appear on the character game model. There is a non-quest item and a quest item version. If you wish to have it as quest item so not to loose it. But, you still want it hot-keyed for easy use. Just use the non-quest item .esp. Equip the item and set it to a hotkey, save the game and quit. Load the quest item version over the old .esp, start up the game and you are good to go.
This file works with all versions of the Surveillance Post. Just be sure it is under the Surveillance Post in the load order.

OPTIONAL UPGRADE2: Added an Auto-Doc terminal. It's located just above the bed. Works for all versions.

OPTIONAL UPGRADE3: Added an Auto-Lathe terminal. It's located on the wall above the reload bench. It is a vendor with 15,000 caps to buy materials with and can repair with 100% skill. WARNING: There is a bug in FONV when a vendor has more than 30,000 caps. They will still take the items you sell to them, but dont give any caps. If the Auto-Lathe starts getting close to 30,000caps due to repair fees. Be sure to sell some junk to it to bring the total down below 30,000caps. The idea is it is an automated material converter. Converting materials into caps. When it resets, it's inventory resets as well. So, if you sell it something you want back. Buy it back before it resets to no objects in inventory.

Shameless Plug: If your Courier has a high Science and you want to get more out of your hard gambled winnings from your Vending Machine try my mod Vending Machine Remix! http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=42783

Shameless Plug2: If you need/want to start a new game and you want the Sierra Madre goodies but dread doing Dead Money for the umptheenth time. Try my Sierra Madre Saved game! http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=42690

Conflicts:
(UPDATE 3/6/15) Just a head's up. I have discovered that Endless Warfare will have critters spawning inside the surveillance post.  I haven't had that issue with IWS or Warzones.  With Warzones, you do get a nice view of the Century Motors conflict!  ;)

Not a conflict, but an annoyance. I built the Surveillance Post as an 'exterior' building so Vegas and the surrounding area could actually be seen. Due to how Fallout handles weather. If you are running a weather mod that adds rain, snow, dust storms, ect. You will experience the same weather conditions inside the Surveillance Post.
If you are running the Dead Money optional file. The only conflict you might get is with any other mod that modifies the Complimentary Gift script post-Sierra Madre. Which ever is lower in the load order will take precedence.

Got the idea while channel surfing late night and happened onto the beginning of Star Trek: Insurrection and thought something similar would be interesting for Fallout NV. And thanks to the makers of the game.
