Remodify lets you install and uninstall weapon modkits in Fallout New Vegas. So the modkits won\'t get permanently attached to the gun.

This mod lets you remove and reapply your weapon mod kits in Fallout New Vegas.
So that when you need to ditch a weapon cause you can't carry anymore stuff for instance
you can take off the weapon mod kits and reapply them later on to another (the same) weapon when needed.
And you only need to buy 1 kit of each sort and can take them all with you when you like.

I purposely made the modding so that you will not get points for it, and the original mods can still be
applied to the base weapon model so you still can get your challenge if you want by modding the weapon in the
in the old fashion way with X in the pipboy, only then you will destroy your modkit that gets applied but you
will still be able to get your challenge done.

On installing the mod no hotkey is set to open the weapon mod menu ingame, so after the install you need
to got to the apparel tab in your pipboy and activate the mod there for the first time, there you can set
a hotkey so that later on you can open the mod menu by hitting the hotkey in gamemode.

The mod works with weapons made in the geck, so i made multiple weapons of the same sort and they get switched
by a script which then takes away your modkit, later when you remove the modkit it gets switched back and you
will be given a new modkit in your inventory.
I changed the sounds of the silenced weapons cause i always felt the silenced Varmint for instance was
like someone spitting on the ground, did not like the sound of that, especially on the Snipe Rifle.

As it is now, this works on all vanilla weapons, if you have EVE or WMX you need to mod those guns the old way.
I use EVE too, and i probably will be making a EVE version too which uses EVE as a masterfile.
As far as WMX and WME goes, this mod has like 100 pages of script to do only the vanilla weapons,
so if i would have to make a version for WMX and WME i would have to type 500 pages of script and i am probably
not going to do that because of the simple fact that i don't use those mods.
If anyone wants me to do that be prepared to pay me a few hunderd dollars, so you better not ask for that.

Install
-----------

Drop the Data folder from this package into your Fallout New Vegas installation directory and
enable the .esp file in FOMM or the Fallout Launcher at the data files entry.

This mod needs NVSE !!

Q & A
----------

Q. I mod my gun and the model from EVE is gone, howcome ?
A. That's because EVE did not use the original location of meshes and in-geck settings as the Vanilla game
the solution is to mod the EVE weapons in the old fashion way, destroying your modkit.

Q. I cant seem to set my new hotkey, what's up ?
A. You need to keep the desired key pressed and then click the button in the menu to change it.

Q. I click to Attach a mod and nothing happens.
A You probably do not have the desired modkit, if you have the modkit you will hear immediately
after you clicked the menu button the default equip sound of a weapon, if you then close the menu
the weapon will be put in your hands and the kit (kits) will be removed.

Q. Can i modify other modded weapons with this mod.
A. No you can not, for every weapon that needs to be remoddable new weapons must be created in the GECK.

Q. Is this mod Compatible with WME/WMX ?
A. I don't know, you tell me..
