Short Description:
A custom Fully automatic .308 caliber battle rifle.

Long Description:
Like the Marksman's Carbine, but more powerful, heavier and fully automatic.
this is a battle rifle for people who find the vanilla ones don't quite pack the punch they need for their enemies.
this gun will reliably kill pretty much anything, but chews through .308 ammo at great speed.

it uses a customised mesh based primarily on the Marksman's Carbine, but with wood furniture taken from the Laser RCW, hence the name.

Locaton: the weapon can be found in the tent at Camp Guardian along with a couple crates of 308 ammo.

##########Recommended Mods############
its worth mentioning that because this mod uses vanilla textures, anything that edits those will conflict (or improve) this mod.
Millenia (responsible for retexturing pretty much all of the firearms in the game at this point) has also remapped the texture-layout for any guns he's modified. so if you get his mods for any of the guns this one uses, the textures are going to look wierd. associated mods are the marksman Carbine and Laser RPD. possibly a couple others. just a heads up to anyone avidly getting all Millenia's retextures :)

Added Version 1.1
V1.1 makes it scopeless by default and adds a modkit at camp guardian alongside the original weapon location.
the Modkit serves to make it identical to how it was in V1.0

Installation:
Copy across the contents of the Rar directory into your Fallout new vegas directory.
Tick the GotWood.esp data file in your mod manager
Go to camp Guardian, go into the tent, pick up the gun and ammo.
enjoy.

Debug-installation:
(this is a new thing for me, too many people pop up saying they can't get my mods working)
there are three critical files in this mod.
GotWood.esp - belongs in your fallout new vegas/Data directory.
WoodFurnitureRifle01.nif - belongs in your Data/Meshes/Weapons/2HandAutomatic/ directory.
WoodFurnitureRifle02.nif - belongs in your Data/Meshes/Weapons/2HandAutomatic/ directory.


if you can confirm that those three files are in the correct places, and that the mod is ticked in the modmanager and it -still- isn't working,

PM me or leave a comment and I'll tell you that I have no idea why its not working. Then I'll suggest you spawn it with the console

(player.additem xx000ade 1) and if that doesn't work. your game may require reinstalling, because its clearly screwed up :P
