Description
===========
Taking inspiration from the Pen&Paper RPG Vampire: The Masquerade and Vampire: Bloodlines (A game by Troika Games, which was founded by some of the makers of Fallout 2) you can now play as one of the Undead!

Location
========
Once you reach level 2 the new quest will start.

Details
=======
A new questline that will introduce you to the World of post-apocalyptic Darkness! Become a vampire, choose a clan and use the supernatural powers of the undead.

Once you have choosen one clan of vampires (happens along the quest) you can buy Disciplines (the supernatural powers of the undead) whenever you gain a perk. To use a discipline, simply use (or even hotkey) one of the "Discipline" items in the Items>Apparel section of your PipBoy.

Little advice:
For more immersion you can change the Hud color of your game to neat, bloody red. Thanks to 'Trynfkwtme's Fallout 3 Mods FAQ' for that!

---------------------------------------------
How can I change my HUD color to something other than default?

The answer to this question is to manually change the decimal color code in your FalloutPrefs.ini file in your MyDocs/games/fallout folder. open the file with notepad and the lines you need to change are the following:

Red:
uPipboyColor=2566914303
uHUDColor=2566914303
---------------------------------------------

2.) Load the save and play as normal.

Upgrade
=======
Lot's of.

And I thought that the VR mod was a lot of work... sigh...

Incompatibility
==============
none.

Known Issues or Bugs
====================
none. Just tons of small stuff that could be handeled better some day.

History
=======
ver.0.1
-Beta Released
ver.0.2
-Working Summons for Animalism, Necromancy and Vicissitude added.
ver.0.3
-"Fixed" the wait problem by setting the daylight timescale to just over one thousand... Yes, the days are getting shorter! Also causes a neat Blade-style time lapse effect.
ver.0.4
-Changed the Sunlight Damage from Ability to Script. There are now two kinds of Damage. One comes with the "BloodlinesVampireNPCAbility" and is for NPCs only. The other damage (for the player) is handeled via script. So you can wait and rest all day long if you want. And you should. Also changed the overall timescale to 10 minutes ingame per 1 real-life minute. (Down from 30.)
ver.0.5
-Changed the script of Doc Mitchell's goodbye dialogue, so you can now rest before leaving for the Mojave. (You no longer have to leave during noon Yay!) Also added something as uninteresting as thaumaturgy... oh well.. just a fireball. No one could be interested in that...
ver.0.6
-Major overhaul. Added a quest to give some more backstory. And my throat hurts from doing the voiceovers.
ver.0.7
-Advanced the Quest up to the point where you can choose your clan. So disciplines are now available once you gain a new perk.
ver.1.0
-First quest completed. Playable release! Yay!
ver.1.1
-Major Disciplines overhaul! Now all disciplines use bloodpoints and will return your current blood points upon use. Disciplines are now either working for 30s (Celerity, Auspex, etc.) or until your summoned creature is killed.
Also added Summon Shadow for Obtenebreation. Disciplines are as of now limited to 1 level.
ver.1.2
-Added the start of a second quest and a few more places filled with supernaturals. (BloodlinesCamarillaHaven, BloodlinesHauntedOffice). If you replace the camarillahavenbackground.wav file that can be found at Data\Sound\songs\bloodlines with a mono(!) .wav-file of yours, it will be played in the Camarilla Haven. I currently run Darling Violetta - A Smaller God there (straight out of Vampire: Bloodlines). As this song is copyrighted I put an old piece of music into the mod instead, which I did out of boredom a few years ago. You never know when you might need that kind of thing again! :-)
ver.1.3
-Added a custom race for Nosferatu. It will be applied automatically upon selecting the Clan.
ver.1.4
-Added Bloodletters (unique Spicked Knuckles with Fatigue Damage) to the Camarilla Haven and also worked on the "Quest Failed" conditions for the Quest "Sunset Camarilla". You cannot yet do the additional quest stages, but at least you can anger the Prince now. ;-)
ver.1.5
-Added the second Quest "Fortune Favors the Dead" to the mod. Speak with the Nosferatu(?) Elder Baccarat after speaking with Prince Cole.
ver.1.6
-Added the third Quest "High-Rollers and Low-Life" to the mod. Speak with Sheriff Siegfried after speaking with Prince Cole.
ver.1.7
-Added Dominate and Presence Discipline, added a quest reward for "High-Rollers and Low-Life", fixed the aggression level of the Horrid Form enemies from the same quest, ironed out some typos, added a restore Blood Points +1 effect to blood packs.
ver.1.8
-Final Camarilla quest added! Also added a new enemy to the game. Poor wolfie... Haven reward is not yet implemented, as I am still trying to wrap my head around the idea of what is appropriate.
