Well here's another simple mod for you guys. This time I'm adding MRE's to the Mojave Wasteland.
What this mod does:
Adds 24 unique MRE's to the Mojave Wasteland!
What is an MRE?
An MRE is a Meal Ready to Eat. It is a pre-packaged, vacuum-sealed meal containing, on average, around 1,250 calories. MRE's are primarily used by Military personnel and Disaster Releif Agencies.
Where can you find MRE's?
Well, I added them to the leveled lists in the GECK so you have a chance to find them in any loot container where you can find food items, dead Legion, NCR, Boomer's and Powder Gangers might have one on them, vendor's selling food and if you're really in a pinch and absolutely MUST have them, I've set up a shell inside the kitchen area of the Nellis Munitions and Mess Hall, which, you can of course find inside Nellis Air Force Base.
Okay, now time for the nitty-gritty stuff. You cannot craft, cook or make MRE's. I will not put that in this mod so please don't ask. You can find them almost EVERYWHERE! and I literally mean that. Dead Legion, NCR, Powder Gangers, Boomers, almost every vendor might have some and there's a chance for one to appear in every food loot container. They are valued at around 200 caps but this is because of their tremendous beneficial value.
Base Beneficial Value of MRE's:
+1 to Hydration per second for 15 seconds (15 total)
+1 Health Points per second for 75 seconds (75 HP total)
+1 to Starvation per second for 5 minutes/300 seconds (300 total)
