Dead Money adds a few new weapons to the game, and adds these weapons to various lists pertaining to perks and traits. The problem is that it doesn't add these weapons to ALL lists it should, which results in a few issues. These include:

- The Police Pistol is not affected by the Cowboy perk
- Demolitions Charges are not affected by the Demolitions Expert perk
- Gas Bombs are not affected by the Pyromaniac perk and will not ignite other flammable sources
- Throwing Knife Spears are not affected by the Loose Cannon trait
- ...and a bunch of other stuff too numerous to list.

The issues with weapons don't stop there, either. The Knife Spear Clean doesn't look any different than the standard Knife Spear, owing to the ''clean'' texture only being applied to the staff part of the weapon. It's also marked as a ''Player Only'' weapon, meaning you can't give it to your companions to use. Throwing Knife Spears are also marked in this way.

And rounding out the weapons issues, the Cosmic Knife Super-Heated specifies a glow map (a specific texture which determines what part of the weapon glows), but the actual texture itself isn't included in the resources for Dead Money. This results in the weapon appearing to be red-hot all over, including the handle. I have included a custom-made texture which limits the glow to the blade itself.

In the ''armor'' category for this mod, Father Elijah's robes appear recolored when worn, but NOT when they are dropped to the ground.

Another armor-related problem comes from the ''In Shining Armor'' perk: this perk is not set up to work with all armor that it is supposed to, overlooking certain pieces equipment, most notably the Brotherhood T-51b and T-45d power armors, as well as NCR Salvaged Power Armor. Even worse, it is set up to check whether or not your attacker is using weapons of the ''Energy'' skill, not the ''Energy Weapons'' skill. This effectively means the perk does nothing.

Finally, the ''Return Outfit Item'' code for the Sierra Madre vending machines includes a code for returning Fedoras. This is set to accept the non-playable item called Fedora, which isn't found anywhere within the Sierra Madre, and isn't even obtainable by the player under normal means. This has been changed to accept Pre-War Hats, which is pretty clearly what it was meant to take.


This bugfix addresses all of the above issues, most within a quest script which dynamically updates the appropriate lists and fields.
