During your exploration of the Mojave Wasteland, you will discover new food recipes to use at the campfire. If you play in hardcore mode, you will need to eat frequently. Two of the better recipes you will find require "Brahmin Meat," which is great, except that practically no vendors sell it, so you pretty much have to kill brahmin to get it. It doesn't help that wild respawning brahmin are rare. So, you're basically left with murdering the villagers'/townsfolk's/traders' brahmin, which isn't appropriate if you're playing a good character, and often impractical if you're playing a bad character.
This mod addresses this issue by allowing you to use Brahmin Steak, instead of Brahmin Meat, in those recipes. If you do have Brahmin Meat available, you can still cook it into Brahmin Steak and then use it in those other recipes.
Two versions are included. If you use FOMM, get the FOMOD version, extract the archive to your FOMM mod folder and activate the package from FOMM. If you don't know what FOMM is, get the Standard Version, extract the archive, copy the .esp file to your Fallout New Vegas data folder, and finally activate the .esp file from your Fallout New Vegas game launcher/loader.
