About this mod

Coco is a coyote puppy that will accompany you on your journey through the NV wasteland.

Permissions and credits
First and foremost I want to thank Zenl & Watersmoon110 without whose help Coco would just be a adult model at a .5 scale. They brought the cuteness.

V05 adds follow & wait commands, thanks to Darkfirebird's (AKA CMF's) excellent companion tutorial.

Sunny in goodsprings has found a coyote pup she has named Coco. Right now Coco is very basic, he has the required factions to travel in the strip and enter the lucky 38, dogemeats AI follow package and a slightly higher int & per.

His one ability is "run like hell". Lets face it, when your a one foot tall orphan in a region inhabited by ten foot tall reptilian predators you learn to be fleet of foot. Since he's a puppy and his combat abilities are weak he will run from all confrontations. But he shouldn't go far.

This is just the start of a work in progress and is also beta testing for two additional mods I want to develop.

I would like to enhance his abilities/skills in the following ways;

Stay, guard behavior, able to eat & benefit from ingestibles, a low growl when enemies are at the range of his perception (a low tech, weaker version of ED-E's scanner perk), implement use of cover vs firearms, the ability to gain some basic perks as he levels, some easter eggs, etc.

Suggestions are certainly welcome. There may also be some future surprises based on native american myth.

To install simply unrar CoyotePuppyCompanion.rar into your data folder overwriting files when prompted. Place a check next to the esp in your mod manager.

Coco shouldn't count against your number of followers.

Note; Although I don't recommend, it if you like (or think it's too sad Coco is an orphan) you can run Coco & Totem (an full grown coyote companion, http://newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=39791) together. I'd recommend loading one mod and once one of the coyotes joins you saving then loading the 2nd mod.

Occasionally (when running both mods) one or the other will sit down and stop following. This is usually remedied when the next cell loads.
