About this mod

Replacement model for the Flashlight NV mod. Makes the flashlight visible on your head.

Permissions and credits

Requirements
This mod absolutely REQUIRES the Flashlight NV version 1.0 mod by documn.

I love his flashlight mod, it adds a lot of atmosphere to the game for me, but I really needed it to have a model. So Here it is. Currently I only have it working for the normal version, not the high performance one.

Please note: This mod does not contain documns mod. You must download and install his mod first!

What it does
1. Adds a visible model to the Flashlight item. It looks like a flashlight strapped to your head.
2. Adds a Flashlight Activator > item to your inventory. You can hotkey this item, and when you activate it, it turns the flashlight on or off.

Installation
If you already have the flashlight installed, remove the file from your load order and make a clean save!. This makes sure the new headmounted flashlight is given to you when you start your game. Then follow the instructions below.

1. Make sure you have correctly installed the Flashlight NV mod.
2. Copy the files from this mod into your Data folder.
3. Make sure the 'Head Mounted Flashlight.esp' file is load AFTER the 'FlashlightNV-LOS.esp' file!

Conflicts
Uses body addon slot 1 so will conflict with anything using that slot. I can make addons to alter the slot usage to headband etc.

Compatible with
Totally compatible with the Advanced Recon Thermal nightvision mod.

Known issues
When turning the flash light on or off, the head position of the player is usually reset if in third person. This is because it uses an item activator. Hopefully this will disappear once there is an NVSE version.

Credit
daejones : The model itself is modified from his original targetter, but at its core, it is his model. His work got me started and without it I would never have gotten this far.

documn : It's his mod that does all the work. I just added a model. What I did is put icing on the cake that he made. So thank him for the cake :)
