Notice:
- Nexus Mod Manager (NMM) is highly recommended for installing this mod. Alternatively, Fallout Mod Manager can be used (FOMM)
- There is currently no way to upgrade from previous beta versions to 1.0 final. I recommend that you remove all previous MyShack files before installing the new version.
- Make sure you are using the 1.4 patch (newest). That is what I used when I made this mod. I do NOT support Fallout versions prior to 1.4. Patch your game before you ask me for help. If you don't know which version of Fallout you have, right-click the main FalloutNV.exe and select: Properties->Details->File version.
- If you experience any problems not mentioned in the FAQ, please contact me with detailed information (the more details the better). I honestly can't help you if your response is anything like "it doesn't work" and nothing else.
- If you are running a "performance mod" that deletes vanilla forms and you are having problems, try playing without that mod running and see if that corrects the issue (try the 4GB patch and/or the NVSE stutter remover instead).

This mod adds a new player shack home to the Mojave wasteland. The shack is located in a new worldspace that is located in the Mojave, but beyond the boundaries. This is my first house mod for New Vegas, second house mod using the GameBryo engine (I'm still working on My Mansion for FO3).

I wanted a simple little house mod to go along with the video tutorial I did on small LODless worldspaces ( New Worldspace, The Easy Way ) which is based on the text tutorial Creating Worldspaces the easy way . To kind of demonstrate the idea "it can still look good without LOD". Also, because it deals with the tutorial, I wanted it to be small and only one file (no custom models, textures, etc).

Important Terminals:
* Config: Activating the "Hula Girl" on the wood pile outside the Shack, it will enable/disable the Config terminal. This can be used to disable creates or changes interior image spaces, etc.
* Item Sorter: Located through the area, these provide a way to quickly remove items from your inventory and place them into specific container of your choosing (Req. NVSE).

If you're looking for performance, you can try these mods which were mentioned above (Don't use mods that delete vanilla forms):
Large Address Aware Enabler (4GB Patch): http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/35262
Fallout New Vegas Stutter Remover: http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/34832

Features:
----------------------------------------------------------------

* New small worldspace with lots of plant-life
* Lots of containers (which can be renamed using a plugin)
* Ability to change indoor images spaces via a terminal on the exterior of the shack
* Player only containers (ownership, no AI acquire and a script ensures it - Shack cells don't "reset").
* Advanced item sorter (Minimum Container does not work with items that have health like Armor and Weapons) (Req. NVSE).
* Workbenches and Reloading benches along with other Crafting areas
* Selectable stations on the radios in My Shack (doesn't affect vanilla radios)
* Vanilla followers will wait at MyShack indefinitely (if enabled in the Config terminal)
* A few animals (Ravens, Brahmin, Dog, Big Horner and fish)
* Washing machine that can turn "Dirty" clothes into the "Clean" variants ;P
* Beds will give you the well rested perk like vanilla houses.
* Very customizable (Texture and Mesh plugins)
* New .44 Mag (FO3 Blackhawk stats)
* More...

Features that Require NVSE:
* Item Sorters (No non-NVSE sorter at this time).

Notes:
----------------------------------------------------------------

See the included README file for more information and trouble shooting problems like big red exclamation marks everywhere.

See "Changes" or the included README for a full list of changes.

See "Images" for the location on the map.

Make sure you're using the latest Fallout New Vegas patch (v1.4).

This mod used to require being loaded directly after FalloutNV.esm or the options in the Main Menu would never appear. Usually that is caused by invalid/delinquent references (refs that no longer exist). In this case, for me it was having valid/non-delinquent "Door" references in FormLists that I created. I have confirmed the Door ref in FormList bug in Fallout 3, Fallout NV and Skyrim. If you have any problems with the Main Menu not appearing, please let me know, but that bug should be gone for good. ;)
