This is destruction data for the Beer, Wine, Whiskey and Vodka bottles.

They have splashes, splat decals and debris models.

This mod will make all vanilla Beer, Wine, Whiskey and Vodka bottles destructible. You can still carry them, drink them and drop them - but if you shoot them or blow a grenade up near them - They will explode.

See the posted video through the Video Tab. It is of the Fallout 3 version but essentially the same.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

--Localization Updates & Releases--

If you think Destructibles should be localized, please contact me with your translation and I will release it here and on my ModDB page: 3ncryptabl3 on ModDB - Any and all languages would be appreciated and full credit for that work will go to you. Do not hesitate to contact me regarding this.

--The Future of Destructibles--

Although I am interested in doing a huge destructible mod, lets be honest and realistic - destructible objects is far simpler and less time consuming than trying to Havoc the world. (plus it integrates nicely into the vanilla game) I'm not talking about simple basic model swapping: e.g. Pristine Garbage Can turns into Dirty Garbage Can when shot. That's lame and since the bar is already up there with the bottles, the work would have to match or exceed the effects work done on the bottles: e.g. Garbage Can shifts through multiple minor variants of a worn Garbage Can, pieces break and fly off getting progressively worse until it falls apart completely. Sarsaparilla bottles explode and drop a cap when shot. Whiskey and Vodka bottle let out a little flaming wisp when shot, a fence can be blasted open with a grenade or C4...

You get the idea.

Take all the objects that should exhibit a level destruction (shattering, exploding, flying apart), that integrate into the Vanilla game, then do it.

I can model and texture just fine.

If you are an experienced NifSkope user please PLEASE please, contact me! I can't stress this enough - I Frankensteined the bottle bits and explosion fx but would like to do SO MUCH MORE. I have the time and the passion - if you do to, contact me directly. The idea is simple, stick to what we know. I know modeling and texturing, you know NifSkope. Together we'll take Destructibles to the next level.

INSTALLATION
*******************************************

:1:Move the two Destructibles directories from textures & meshes directories in this zip file to the root directories of your current textures & meshes directories.
:2:Move the Destructibles.esp file into your root Data Directory.
:3:Enable the esp file as you normally would.

Destructibles should be compatible with most if not all mods. Unless the mod has made drastic changes to the Wine, Whiskey, Vodka and Beer bottles (by which I mean, swaps the Vanilla models with new ones, re-textures the Vanilla bottles using different UV-Coordinates, changes the Enchantments of each bottle) then it should play well.

LICENSE & PERMISSIONS
*******************************************

-Do not assimilate into your mod for release - No Permission is given to do such. While you're welcome to merge it for personal use (how can I stop you) You do so with the understanding that it won't be supported should any issues or conflicts or game-breaking bugs arise and that you can then no longer release the mod you merged Destructibles into.

-This is a player mod only - !!!DO NOT REDISTRIBUTE!!! for any reason.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for sharing. My problem is that when mods are redistributed by other people, the originators of the mods in question (myself included) have a hard time (if not an impossible time) tracking them - When you factor in the language barrier it becomes impossible to track comments, requests and bugs.

Although I can't stress that enough, I still get requests for redistribution. If I don't answer your request to redistribute Destructibles IT DOES !NOT! MEAN YOU CAN. Respect this please (:
