I'm new to the modding scene, so I'm impressed by my results.

The Light Fifty is a modified Anti-Materiel Rifle which does an enormous amount of damage (1000) and gives off an Electric Blue Blaze just like in the Anime, Gurren Lagann. I'm fairly certain it's the most powerful weapon in the game (aside from another mod perhaps) and is capable of decimating anyone wearing T-51b power armor in one shot (even without a sneak attack bonus). I've strength tested it against what I assume to be the strongest enemy in the game, a Legendary Deathclaw, and the Light Fifty is able to kill it in one shot as well. The spectacular Blaze effect makes kills extremely satisfying :)


I'd recommend that you download this:

(it changes Veronica into Yoko to be used as a companion) and give Yoko the Light Fifty instead of her default weapon (which is just a renamed generic Anti Materiel Rifle) although it is certainly not required. Keep in mind I did not create the mod that that alters Veronica, so props to Tehganon.

Installation (Edited for V2.0):

1. Place the Data file in the Fallout: New Vegas Directory
c:\Program Files (x86)\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout New Vegas

2. Go to "Data Files" in the Fallout New Vegas Launcher and check the box for the file

Searchlight Airport

half right from the spawn point, head straight until you come to the dirt and do another half right, continue straight until you reach the concrete edge, located between the large ovular dirt area (where the fighter crashed) and the "patch" of dirt on the left.

Potential Update:

Recently, I've been playing around with a new look for the Light Fifty. I plan on leaving the mod characteristics the same while changing the default Anti Materiel Rifle model to a more acurate representation of a Barrett M82.

I've uploaded a photo of the updated model in use.

Also, I have created a new topic thread as the previous one was locked (don't know why?), so feel free to post your questions/comments there.

Light Fifty V2.0 Released:

I have recently uploaded Version 2.0 for your enjoyment. As previously stated, the main change that this mod brings is that it more accuratedly portrays Yoko's Rifle in the Anime Gurren Lagann (special thanks to Imperator3 for the M82). In addition to the aesthetic change, V2.0 also offers some slight improvements over the original:
-Fires Semi-Auto
-Weighs 8 lbs. less
-Holds 10 rounds per clip

Version 2.0 is located under "Files\Updates"
