ED-E avoids traps (by Volek)




ED-E does not set off beartraps, tripwires, pressure plates and sidewalk grates anymore.
CAUTION: Mines still explode when ED-E comes into proximity!

UPDATE: added a version that is compatible with Random Extra Traps by Wuphon's Reach




Extract the ESP file to your New Vegas/Data folder and activate it with FOMM or the New Vegas Launcher.




Deactivate and delete the ESP file




No bugs found yet.

This mod doesn't change ED-E or adds perks. It changes the scripts of beartraps, tripwires, pressure plates and sidewalk grates (there aren't any sidewalk grates in FNV atm, but i included them anyway just in case they will be added by a mod or DLC). It's incompatible with any mod that changes these scripts as well. It should be 100% compatible with any mod that changes ED-E itself.




I couldn't figure out how to implement mines yet, because they are not controlled by scripts.
I tried adding all mines to ED-E's faction, but that makes their original owners trigger them instead. I'm gonna try a different method by tweaking the mine trigger radius.
