Requirements
New Vegas Script Extender - NVSE
Description
Important: Version 1.3.0 requires a clean install to prior versions, make sure you create a clean save file!
Haven't seen a similar port here yet, so made my own version. Allows you to use grenades with hotkeys.
Default settings
- 'g' - throw grenade (tap, or press and hold)
- 'h' - swap grenade types (tap)
- 'h' - menu system (press and hold)
- 'c' - melee attack (press and hold)
- 'x' - melee weapon swap
Customizing Grenade Lists
You can add custom grenades from 3rd party mods with the following steps:
- Equip the grenade you wish to add.
- Still in your pip-boy inventory screen, just tap the grenade hotkey.
If adding a custom grenade to the list, it will not only be usable by the hotkeys, but will also be properly added to any grenade-related lists, like perks, even if the original author missed those.
Melee Hotkey
You can add custom melee weapons from 3rd party mods with the following steps:
- Equip the melee weapon you wish to add.
- Still in your pip-boy inventory screen, just tap the melee weapon hotkey.
Nuka-Grenades
You can craft nuka-grenades without schematics, but requires a significant Explosives skill. Recipe and damage is equivalent to the Fallout 3 version (abraxo cleaner, tin-can, quantum, turpentine)
With the above recipe, you get
- 1 Nuka-Grenade, default recipe, requires 50 Explosives skill
- 2 Nuka-Grenades, if Explosive is greater than or equal to 70 and less than 90
- 3 Nuka-Grenades, if Explosive is greater than or equal to 90
You can create Nuka Cola Quantums with the following recipes
- 10 Nuka-Colas, 30 Science skill = 1 Nuka Cola Quantum
- 3 Nuka-Colas, Nuka Chemist Perk = 1 Nuka Cola Quantum
Installation
Unzip and use fomm's package manager to install the fomod.
Uninstall
Open fomm/package manager and disable the fomod.
