Beings as I'm putting Fallout 3 content slowly back into New Vegas, I thought I'd include the Bobbleheads too - complete with Display stands and the appropriate buffs to your stats!

This is mostly a mod I made for myself, so I won't be changing the bobblehead locations in the future or anything; if you want to, feel free to open the geck and shift them around to your own liking. I did, however, try to space them around the map as evenly as possible, and in places where - when I was exploring - I was disappointed with the paltry rewards found (or lack thereof. A couple of sticks of dynamite for exploring a whole cave?!).

The Bobbleheads have been given some slight alterations to make them fresh. Firstly, I have changed the inscriptions on each one, so you can expect to look forward to reading the new descriptions on the Bobbles (in keeping with the themes, of course). Secondly, I have added Bobblehead stands to all of the main bases and faction Safehouses in the game, including (if you don't like spoilers and haven't found the saefhouses, look away now):

The Brotherhood of Steel Safehouse
The NCR Safehouse
The Followers of the Apocalypse Safehouse
Ceasar's Legion Safehouse
Novac's Motel
The Lucky 38's Penthouse Floor

I have scripted all the Bobblehead stands to update with each other as you add Bobbles to a stand (so if you place, say, a strength Bobblehead in the NCR safehouse, it will appear in all the other safehouses too and vice versa). This is designed for people who like to have several bases, and those of you who just use the one won't have to ask for another update for your own preferred safehouse. I have tested this updating thoroughly so it's all working; if you have any problems with the script, it might be an interference with another mod (though I don't foresee any major problems, but just in case I thought I'd mention it's been heavily scrutinized).

My 3D modelling skills are very, very low so rather than trying to make a new Bobblehead for the Survival skill, I have used the model for Big Guns. Sounds like cutting corners, but I had to do the best I could with what skills I currently have available to me; it will make a sort of sense if you read the description on the Bobble anyway :P

UPDATE: The newest file added here contains Brumbek's own textures included in the rar file, and also a new addition - Brumbek's new mesh for the Survival Bobblehead! the text and message in the game have also been changed to apply properly to Survival. A huge thanks to Brumbek for the meshes and textures, they're very awesome, and full credit is given for that.

The older file remains unchanged if that's your preference.

There shouldn't be any trouble with the models or textures included, I have just used the ones from Fallout 3 and didn't add any into the folders; they were already there, I just set them up. I have included the ones I used in folders in case there is any problems, I don't think I missed any, but if you encounter some, please let me know. You can add them manually via the geck database, too.

I hope you enjoy hunting for the Bobbleheads, and if you can't find any of them their locations will be included - in seperate files so as not to spoil the search for anyone - in notes within the RAR file :)

Have fun!

IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ

Modders put a lot of time and effort into making new content for games, so if you like files, please endorse them. It only takes a moment, it shows appreciation for the work, and it's the best way a modder can know at a glance if they are successful in their endeavors; if people don't endorse a mod they like, I myself always assume that it isn't well-recieved and won't make any similiar things in the future. Thank you for your time :)

Disclaimer:
===============

I have the greatest respect for my fellow modders, but I have intentionally avoided looking at any other mods that have been made for New Vegas for the time being - I want the modding practise for NV and I don't want to be discouraged from trying something if a similiar mod has already been created. So, if there is something similiar out there, feel free to avoid mentioning it to me. If you feel offended because something of mine is similiar to your own mod, the resemblance is purely coincidental, and instead be proud - great minds think alike ;)
