2. Mod Description

IMPORTANT: v1.04+ requires NVSE to use the hotkey functionality
of this mod. Not having NVSE will either cause your game to
implode or more likely the hotkey simply will not work.

This mod adds a new type of Stealth Boy to the game along with
a config device for it.

While active the stealth field will give you a chamleon effect
of 75% which is identical to the normal stealth boy. It will
also raise your sneak skill by 10 points. Companion version is
identical.

The stealth field works in two ways. Global Override Mode
(PiP-Boy Stealth Boy Addon), this activates the stealth field
while standing or crouching/sneaking and you can turn it on
and off at will.

Automatic Mode (PiP-Boy Stealth Boy Config), when enabled it
will activate the stealth field when you start
crouching/sneaking and deactive it when you stop
crouching/sneaking.

Say you have automatic mode on, your crouching/sneaking and you
want to disable your stealth field temporarily. Rather than turn
automatic mode off entirely you can hit the stealth boy addon to
toggle the global override. This will change you from stealthed
while crouching/sneaking to unstealthed.

For quick access hotkey the stealth boy addon so you can override
your stealth settings at any time. You can also hotkey the
config device to change auto stealthing whenever you wish. NVSE
users can use the "M" hotkey to toggle the stealth field on and
off at will.

The Stealth Boy as well as its config device will appear under
the Aid section of your inventory and is for sale at Goodsprings
from Chet for the price of 2500 caps. You only need one of
each item extra stock was added in case you misplace your
items so you don't need to wait for it to respawn.

NOTE 1: Both the stealth boy and config device need to be toggled
once or twice before they will work properly.

NOTE 2: You will still be extremely easy to detect even while in
stealth mode if your standing. This is due to game mechanics.
Using it while standing will make it slightly more difficult for
enemies to find you but it's primarily cosmetic. If you want to
snipe people go into sneak mode.

NOTE 3: Any graphical oddities you see such as baldness or a
weird blob standing out from your pipboy are all with the base
game and cannot be fixed by me so please don't ask.

Companions
**********

Since I've started using companions more than say never in my
games I've started adding support for them in some of my mods.
After testing i found for whatever reason the Pip-Boy Stealth Boy
Addon does not want to work in an NPCs inventory. As such i have
added a companion version with a very simple design.

The item itself is called (Pip-Boy Stealth Boy Companion) and is
buyable from Chet for 2500 caps like the original. It is an armor
piece that is equipped using the BodyAddon1 slot and is completely
invisible. When the wearer goes into sneak mode stealth mode is
automatically turned on. When they stop sneaking it turns off.
Now technically you can use it on your own character but your much
better off using the main portion of this mod for yourself instead.

3. Version History

*****************************************************************

v1.04
- Added a hotkey to toggle stealth by default it is "M" requires
NVSE
- Put the name of the stealth system in brackets [] to make it
appear at the bottom of the pipboy list.
- Reduced the stealth message shown duration down to 3 from
5 seconds.
- Got rid of the cheat mode .esp, seriously do it yourself if
you want it.

v1.03
- Added a special stealth item designed for companions. Let
enemies tremble at your mighty stealth squad.

v1.02
- As per Tetsuya's suggestion i removed the sound on the config
device and added sounds to the auto stealthing. If it annoys
you stick with 1.01 since that's all that changed.

v1.01
- Added an overpowered cheat version of the mod

v1.0
- Ported the Plugin over from Fallout 3
