I *really* hope to see this released. I've always wanted to play a legion character, but never could because I couldn't get over their goofy ass armor. This is just... 100% perfect.
Good god... 'Fear is a sharper weapon than any blade' staring at this model, I all but shiver - perhaps its an overactive imagination. With my thoughts to the finest details of the capabilities of man driven to violence by a purpose he believes in, there are fewer more frightening things in the history of humanity. You pit an over-extended, lumbering steamroller of a force (NCR) that can't muster up momentum or an efficient supply line, give them guns and put them in the path of a single army, unified by a single purpose and the will to win its wars before the battles even start (CL).
I would be terrified if I had to face someone charging at me wearing this. just this.. tower of pure murderous intent and willingness to cut me down like a sack of meat and bone - and this soldier, this assassin would have all but won the fight before we came into direct combat. Because god damn-it, what I'm looking at is a terrifying thing, and I don't care who you are you'd have to be an idiot to not be frightened of this, just as past the goofiness that can come from the Fallout games, Caesar's Legion is a terrifying thing - and finally, after so many renditions, after pushing my mind to consider what the reality of facing a legion warrior might be like, I look at this model and, I don't have to try to imagine it.
sorry if this just goes on and rambles and makes no sense, but I wanted to pass on what your work here has done for me. so kudos, this is freaking awesome.
I can hardly wait to see this, and other armours of note, particularly the heavy wasteland armour and the survivalists/ghoul ex-police officer armour. they all have a startling kind of character to them, particularly in the amazing attention to detail you keep putting forward in your work. I can't wait to see this amazing work released - seriously, I'd pay you for this work to have it in my game.
