Are you still doing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Weapons?
Honestly guys, this has never changed in all of our releases - things are done when they're released. There's no time line, there's no estimation, there's no dead lines... Mill gets a model he wants to texture, he gives it to me, I do my thing, he does his thing, it's released when he's ready to release it. Voila.
The fact remains that the Suomi is still a much higher-quality product, just like every other Finnish weapon (including those that started out as Russian weapons). In the world of mil-surp rifles, a "Finnish capture" Mosin-Nagant is a prized possession because they were retro-fitted to much tighter tolerances, leading to major improvements in accuracy and reliability - the Finns even designed a new magazine that literally eliminated the possibility of rim-lock, something Ivan and Boris never considered to be a problem worth addressing even though it could get troops killed.
The reality is, if the Suomi wasn't a great design, Ivan never would've copied it. I've been through the guts and bolts (and pins, screws, rivets, etc etc) of both platforms, and I'd take a Suomi over a "Pepeshka" any day.
On a totally unrelated note - Mill, have you ever heard the rumor/story of Simo Hayha skiing into a Russian camp with a Suomi and a couple drum mags and wiping out the entire camp? Always thought that was just a war-born legend myself.
And I take Steyr Solothurn Mp -34 over Suomi any day because Mp - 34 have amazing design and build quality that any of this finnish crap can only dream of, whats the point? Duh
