This don't look 50's enough to be in the game, but as a mod with a good intention, THIS IS TOTTALLY BADASS

Do you have video demonstrations of this project? It looks so cool just from the pictures alone.

Unfortunately, even though the game only loses a few fps when recording, the video ends up somewhere in the neighborhood of 2 or 3 frames a minute. Until I figure that out, the best I can do is stills.

Wow this looks really neat. Gonna assume all the vehicles are creatures, and that the driveable ones are just xre cars with the models attached You know if you have some creature skills, someone of your caliber would be mightly handy for a certain big project I run

The armor are creatures, the aircraft are anim statics that are placed dynamically like in Enclave Commander. There are no drivable vehicles at the moment. I just used a retextured version of one of Mattel's XRE humvees to make sure they could follow at a reasonable speed on one of the other shots I posted separate from these. My apologies. I did not intend to be misleading. I have thought of using a method similar to J3X's (FO3) drivable Chimera to make drivable tanks, though but am still on the fence about it.

I think the fact that I have been purposely vague about what A.B.E. actually does might be catching up to me. These shots are more meant as a teaser showcasing some of the more photogenic elements to try to make people curious about the mod. So far, I'm still waiting until closer to release to disclose any real details. TBH, I've only told about 4 people (not including my wife and kids) what the main feature of the mod is, so far.

As for your project, I most likely have to decline because I'm currently up to my ears in my own, but I am curious to know what it is though.

Well if you make driveable tanks, then you're stealing thunder from the frontier, which is the project I was alluding to

I've been told a few times that I should seek you guys out, but I'm still swimming in my own projects and probably won't be able to clear out enough of my list in time to be of any help before it's released. I'm very interested in playing it once you're done though.

I consider A.B.E. a combat enhancement mod more than anything else, whereas The Frontier seems to be more of an expansion that also adds a lot of cool new features and gameplay mechanics. Even if I do end up adding drivable tanks, which admittedly is not a major a priority for me in A.B.E., if I had to float a guess, I'd assume that it and The Frontier are more likely to be used together, rather than one instead of the other.

Whoa! Are those actual fighting vertibirds!? That could be friggin awesome!

Also, have you tried looking at the robobrain treads? They might help make tank treads.

Also, this resource could possibly be used as another vertibird variant:

Though it lacks textures and probably other stuff.

Thanks. It's getting there.... Slowly but surely, but getting there nonetheless.
