And that hat is fantastic, it really fits Mona to a T. Love the addition of the belt buckle on it, really makes it pop. And the new holsters look really good as well, that rose is just all kinds of purty, and really makes it hers.
Mona in the CW hmmm? That is gonna be all kinds of... interesting. I foresee much Mayhem for some very deserving dirtbags. Gonna be fun to watch.
And if you are having problems with the number of mods you have (And seriously, who doesn't.) You might want to check out this plugin for FNVEdit, it adds a script to merge plugins. It is posted on the Skyrim side, but it DOES work in FNVEdit, I have tested it pretty thoroughly with reducing my load bloat when I installed TTW on my system, and it really helped reduce the load order to manageable levels. Not saying you should instal TTW, but if your like me, you have all kinds of little mods that are must haves, but only add one or to things, or change a couple of things, and this lets you merge all of them. In Skyrim I have merged up to 36 plugins into one with nary a hiccup and not an error to be found.

Thanks for the link, though I've been merging mods by hand in FNVEdit for years [which makes porting stuff to F3 amazingly easy], it's just a matter of deciding what I really want to make semi-permanent. There's also quite a few mods I could eliminate just by swiping what I want out of them, but am just too lazy or feel too loyal to them to get rid of.
Having said that, though, there's a LOT of features from NV that I'm missing like crazy. I've got IMCN for F3 running and I'm rather aggravated that I can't just cook at any fire or whip out a bedroll when sleep debt starts racking up [though it does add for some fun challenge!]. ...and Mona's already complaining about not being able to craft her hot .44 SWC's or scrap lesser ammo in favor of more .44 in general. I've tried to talk her into a Model 610 if I can find one, but she's not too keen on the idea.
Performance-wise, and I still can't believe I'm saying this, F3 delivers a much smoother and immensely more visually pleasing an experience for me. I may just end up trying TTW anyway. RFCW wasn't too bad when I played with it years ago, just took forever and two days to load.
Merry Christmas!
Edit: Hmmm, maybe I could get away with claiming Lady Luck in her upper right holster is a Model 310?
And I do think I agree with you about how the CW looks better. NV is very bright, with a lot of the same colors everywhere. It's realistic, but rather drab when you get right down to it. Vurt's flora overhaul helps, but nowhere near the same as the similar mod for the CW does. In FO3 you can have overgrowth and trees everywhere if you want, and it isn't out of place at all. Which makes the contrast between the urban/city and the wasteland areas all the greater.
There are lots of things that I am re-discovering about FO3 that I really missed in NV. I am really enjoying the exploration of those wonderful subway tunnels, with all of it's twists and turns and nasty bitey things to scare the hell out of you. Listening for the coughing noise that the ghouls make has become a necessary survival skill. Add in the DC interiors project, and AWOP and I am having a blast. Sometimes literally, and not always in a good way, lol.
I did install Vurt's blasted and am liking it so far. I've never been a fan of lush, green landscapes, but after this I might try one in the Mojave later on.
I'm discovering exactly what you mention too, the other day I just picked a compass direction, followed it, and rescued a captive then butchered some raiders and when I looked at the images afterward, a prologue to the DC War Journal wrote itself [will probably be posting it later on today, just want to run it by my usual sounding boards as I'm not confident with the pacing yet].
I'm having fun ad libbing most of the survival aspect in my head and that will certainly come into play as well. I also installed DC Interiors and AWOP4F3 last night as well and will be enjoying those soon too. We'll have to see what Mona makes of them.
Thanks for the feedback and ideas, Dave!
I know I've said it before but... Leaps And Bounds!
Thanks, and I think your images have been looking rather amazing as well.
Merry Christmas, TC!
I love the hat and the textures on it, you really did a great job on this, and the holster too.
And thanks, for the FO3 flash. God i miss the capital wasteland.
Yeah, I hadn't really played Fallout 3 since the last DLC was released many years ago. It was fun to visit there again.
Wonderful set, Brig. You did one heck of a job with the hat, especially after you showed me the original version with that god awful hair attached to it. And the textures on the hat band are awesome.
Pretty nifty reconversions. I always thought ripped content wasn't allowed in the Nexus when shared on files, not posted on screenshots.
Not to underappreciate Riven's wonderful work on the rose design for the holster, but the previous version had a certain beauty in its simplicity. It made me feel it was something Mona herself had painted, roughly but lovingly.
I like what you're saying, and I may end up using both at different times. This excursion would be down the line for a future Mona, I'm thinking.
Excellent job. I am wondering if Tenpenny has grown wings..........
I've never had much of a problem with my mod load, but I apparently run pretty lean at 40 to 50 mods, most of which are small tweaks.
I'm not really worried about mods, I just didn't want to port "illegal" assets if I'm going to be posting to the Nexus.
Though I must say, that some kind of a feather on the hat would look pretty darn epic as well.
