Like Lisnpuppy said, "Accepting servitude, even in game, doesn't sit well with me." Me neither! *cat would be sputtin' mad at the circumstances like Mona* =^-^= Doing a fabulous job on this, Brig, and if I weren't so tired I'd meow some more on my thoughts of it. I may have to gallop back tomorrow and rowr some more.

Thanks Kitty! Funny thing is, the first time I played through it (yes, before I even had Ramona in my game) I played it as a gamer, looking for the fastest way to get out of that place with all the goodies I could. I figured it would be fastest to play along with him only to find out there was no option to actually cooperate that didn't end the game with the DLC.

Glad you're enjoying the ride, sorry I don't have a custom kitty jump seat. I'll add that to the to do list. Yeah, no worries, write back tomorrow if you want and we can edit or add on. No pressure, only fun.

I agree with these comments and Jim especially. I just believe it or not started Dead Money. I don't worry about spoilers but I was having a hard time not just wanting to plow through this.Accepting servitude, even in game form doesn't sit well with me. I like your take on all this.

Thank you very much. I hope I do the rest of it justice. I might be able to get more done tonight now that I've made it a sort of priority.

I liked Keylancer's recent synopsis of the DLC as well, especially the way his protagonist was able to tell off the old man at the end.

I sympathize with your mental turmoil in getting these chapters made

There are some very interesting lighting effects in your images, such as the "shower of gold", and the stylized projection of Vera. With the music and the persistent knocking, I found the clinic to be one of the creepiest parts of the Sierra Madre. I'm looking forward to seeing it from Mona's perspective

Thank you. Unlike a lot of folks, I prefer to set my ENB to how I like it and then forget it's there. I think the base here is Enhanced Shaders Netural with the enbeffectprepass sheet from AlpenGlow. ...oh yeah, with lensdirpower and lensdirtintensity cranked up rather high. It tends to do some very interesting things with lens flare and noise.

I'm having fun with this story branch itself, there's just so must distracting me that my mind freezes and nothing gets done at all. Did I already say that? Sorry if I'm repeating myself. You know,... now I'm anxious to see how it goes too, better boot up and find out!

Thank you Raza. Yeah, she might make it through this one and if she doesn't I'll have a lot of free time suddenly on my hands.

Excellent read Brig, Mona is doing it tough in this place, but she's a tough lady herself

Thank you Des. I'm sure you know how it goes, keeping it somewhat tense and difficult for the protagonists without overdoing it.

Dead Money is far better experienced through your words.

She's getting the full treatment at the Sierra Madre. She seems more vulnerable here - be careful Mona! Loved the pics too

Thanks Sam. It's always a challenge to make it fun, but not too easy. As it's her story, there's a good chance things will work out fine, but creating a struggle that puts that in doubt isn't always easy.

Thank you, glad you're enjoying it. The question is, who's going for you next, AK or Azalea? I know, that's not her name and I got it wrong again, sorry. Her name makes me think of Azaleas though.

No need to hurry. I've got enough on my mind already. But I just HAVE to take time for these. The - very very - odd thing is: You actually make me feel like going back to that awful place.........! Hmm......
Your interpretation of The Madre is very fascinating.

Thank you Bernt. Yeah, it's weird.... I've never cared for the place, but actually giving it a chance and immersing myself in it, I'm beginning to respect the Madre. It is absolutely a monument to insanity and that spirit haunts the place hundreds of years after its creation.

I'd almost consider it a flaw that I look at stuff like the words on the walls and try to figure out who wrote them and why they bothered. I mean, yes, they were put there for the player's benefit, but I have fun trying to figure out their backstories.

In my mind things must have a reason. It doesn't matter if the developers might have dropped the ball or not shared their logic with us, we and our characters live in a cause and effect world.
