About this mod

This builder resource is a port of the Drow tileset that was used in the NWN HotU campaign, with some new additions.

Permissions and credits
Deep beneath the sun-lit realms lies a place of ill magic and dire rituals, cloaked in eerie music and strangely warped arts; where a creature with the face of a beautiful elf and the body of a enormous spider holds sway. Once a mortal enters this dark place, his fate will be forever determined.

This builder resource is a port of the handsome Drow tileset that was used in the NWN HotU campaign. Several new tiles have been added to produce a nearly complete set. Compatibility with the RWS Dark Ruins tileset has been provided with the addition of some cavern opening tiles, along with a group of web bridge tiles. In addition to the contributions by the author, this set incorporates elements of the following:

For a set of ported doors that work with the Underwell metatile, see the Doors set by 4760.

A big thanks go to these authors for their fine work!

The hakfile includes a special effect file fx_stdr5_web_symbol.sef, which can be used to apply a spider symbol skin to a standard door. For details on how to use this file, see the Door Skin Vfx release.

To load the tiles into your toolset, install the files into the Neverwinter Nights 2 directory found under your My Documents folder as follows:
    • Copy the 'drow_tileset.hak' file into your personal hak folder
    • Copy the 2da files into your personal override folder
    • The Tiles section of your Toolset should now have a 'Drow Underfell' entry
    • Add 'drow_tileset' to your Module's Hak Paks
    • Import the 'drow.erf' file to load the placeable blueprints

I hope you enjoy this set of tiles and find a use for it in your campaigns.

    Revisions:
    • 1.4 fixed the 2_Door_Room_Variant tile.
    • 1.3 revises the tileset code to avoid a conflict with the Dungeon tileset, changing the tileset code to DW. Note that this release is not backwards compatible with earlier versions! Thanks go to 4760 for his contributions to this effort.
    • 1.2 corrects the floor texture names for the first "1 Wall (1 door) 2 Corners" tile variant
    • 1.1 includes the missing metatiles.2da file, fixes some texturing, and adds more tinting. Thanks go to Kamal_ and FaerzressSparkles for their helpful feedback.
