About this mod

This builder resource provides a second large set of quality placeables

Permissions and credits
This builder resource provides a second large set of quality placeables for use with the Neverwinter Nights 2 toolset and game. It is an expansion to the set provided with the City-State Project Volume I. This release is primarily focused on buildings, including a fine set of Tudor-style structures as well as a building construction kit to create your own Tudor buildings. It contributions contributions by myself, as well as models ported from Neverwinter Nights hakpacks and from many free sources. A big thanks go to these  authors for their fine contributions!!!

The placeables are being released under the CC-BY SA 3.0 license to accomodate the original licenses for the included content. Credit for these contributions are described in the CREDITS.txt file included in the download.

To include these placeables in your toolset:

  • Copy the CityState2.hak and placeables.2da files to the "Neverwinter Nights 2\hak" folder under your user documents directory
  • Launch the NWN2 Toolset and open your module
  • Under the View menu, select the Module Properties item
  • Click on the ellipsis in the Hak Packs field to bring up the dialog
  • Select Add
  • Click on the ellipsis in the FileName field and select the CityState.hak
  • Click on Okay then select Import... from the File menu
  • Open the city-state.erf file

The additions will appear in the Placeables blueprints under the name 'CITY-STATE'. The placeables.2da and city-state.erf files include the placeable entries from the first volume.

Known issue: Traversing the stairs on the Sea Wall and the two large stairs in the Tudor set can cause camera problems.

Revisions
  • 1.0.1 -- The entries from volume I were removed from the placeables.2da and city-state.erf files, allowing the two volumes to be used independently. The combined entries are available in a separate download.
