I always had issues with the Blue Rot, I could live through many horrors only to die with no chance of survival(Never survived before) simply because I got too close or was passed by in the night and didn't wake up.
This mod make the blue rot 4 stages now, the first 3 are similar in most ways, but the 4th stage is no longer an instant kill, it now suppresses the immune system, causes weakness, fatigue, increased hunger and thirst and lasts about 100 days. This may still kill you and stage 4 is not curable, requiring a long recovery, but is survivable with great care and effort, you may still die, but at least you get a chance.
