Started around 2009 by Darknut, Darknut's World Textures is the newest massive and near-feature complete texture replacer package to hit the modding market. Similar in scope to mods like Vibrant Morrowind, the Morrowind Visual Pack, and Richer Textures, Darknut's World Textures aims to replace nearly every texture in the game, including landscapes, architecture, interiors, dungeons, some furniture and containers, and a lot of other random items. While it isn't technically a complete replacer, since it doesn't cover the Telvanni architecture or the island of Solstheim, it covers pretty much everything else to provide for a consistent high-quality experience.

We'll be taking a detailed look at the areas covered by Darknut's World Textures, using an MGSO 3.0 build since it must be emphasized that the two are perfectly compatible, and as a texture replacer package Darknut's World Textures is compatible with pretty much everything, including Morrowind Rebirth and Tamriel Rebuilt.

Anyway, to provide a thorough look at this massive texture replacer, we'll be touring pretty much the entire island of Vvardenfell and the city of Mournhold, so you can see what the game looks like with these textures installed.
