Server Instability Continued

  • Comment
Since disabling the viewing of comments from the file page last night the server has no not crashed once, which is telling. Part two of my plan has been to implement a button that you need to click to view the latest file comments. Upon clicking the button it'll take a few seconds to load the latest comments, but after that everything will look as it did before.

Hopefully this will reduce load on the server as not everyone wants to view the latest file comments.

I shall continue to monitor the situation throught the day.

Excuse me if I stick my nose in such technical things, but you experience load/server problems these days? What a strange accident. Just these days same thing is subject to discussion on a game site in europe

To be exact, i should say that this is a bit doubtfull but seems to have happened ...

It works exactly the same as before minus one detail: to see the comments you have to click the View latest comments link where the comments normally are. After that the comments will load where they normally do.

How does this exactly work? Does it matter if I'm logged in TESSource or not?

Sounds like a bad power supply.
