Name: Home 4.1
Author: Intrepidacious (MARCUSCL at BELLSOUTH.NET)
Location: Suran, just across the river west of the siltstrider

Expansion: Expansions are not required. But it is recommended to have at least one of the expansions just for full functionality of the guar companions.

This ancient home has been around since early Morrowind days. It was my first mod for Morrowind and has gotten lots of adjustments over the years, and has even had to suffer a big move from another location to its final waterfront spot in Suran.

The Home is a big Imperial mansion located in Suran just across the river from the silt strider. It doesn't interfere with any mods I've ever seen, such as Suran Extended, Cragmoor or TF's Villa Fortuna.

The rooftop plaza features a restaurant complete with a bartender and a couple of familiar patrons. A big friendly cliffracer patrols the skies high overhead. A ladder on the side of the house makes for quick access up to the restaurant and back.

Inside, six very spacious and well-lit rooms feature high ceilings, trees and plants, tapestries, lots of bookshelves, chests, wardrobes and drawers. The diningroom is well furnished with a large diningroom table and a fireplace you can activate/deactivate. The fire (and chimney smoke) are activatable via a dwarven crank.

Three pet guar pups -- named Obi, Stanley and Marley -- are wandering around in their own room, playing with chewbones or splashing in their pool. Obi's a black guar, Marley's a brown guar and Stanley's a white guar. They are housetrained and have their own doggydoor to go out of. Any of them will also make nice companions, though they tend to stay out of fights unless you ask them to help out! The pups are small, but three of them take up quite a bit of room in typical Morrowind interiors. You can just tell them to wait outside; if you do, they won’t follow you in any interiors. You can always tell them to start coming inside again, such as when you get back Home. The Home is spacious enough that they won’t get in your way.

Note: Full guar companion functionality requires one of the expansions (either Tribunal or Bloodmoon) due to the warping features that enable the guar to keep up nicely despite terrain and obstacles. If you have basic Morrowind only, you will get an initial popup error when you first speak to a guar companion, and the script will be disabled in your game, though they should still have basic follow capability. With either or both expansions, full companion functionality will work fine.

A teleport ring now brings you back inside the front door in a jiffy! You’ll find it sitting on the table in the bedroom. BUT any companions will get left behind if you use the teleport ring. If this happens, just visit one of the people in the Home to fast-travel back where you left your companion. Use the Travel Agency (see below) to come back to Suran when you have companions with you.

The Vvardenfell Travel Agency is INCLUDED (as optional ESP’s) and is highly recommended if you have at least ONE of the expansions. It's super easy to use and is especially valuable if you have companions with you. You get four rings which summon one of several travel agents to take you -- AND your companions and pets -- almost anywhere you like. Even in the deepest dungeon, a travel agent will be by your side in a flash, ready to whisk you and your pals away! Three VTA ESP files are included for use depending on whether you have Tribunal, or Bloodmoon, or Both! If you want to use VTA, just checkmark the appropriate VTA ESP file in addition to checkmarking the Home 4.1 ESP file.

• VTA_TravelBM+Trib - with totally 32 locations in Morrowind, Mournhold and Solstheim. Requires: Tribunal and Bloodmoon
• VTA_TravelTribun - with 28 locations in Morrowind and Mournhold. Requires: Tribunal
• VTA_TravelBlood - with 28 locations in the Morrowind and Solstheim area. Requires: Bloodmoon

Companions are unlikely to ever get in your way in this spacious home! The three interior NPC's provide spellmaking/enchanting/training services and barter. There should be no unbalancing items, although the NPC's have a lot of money for buying items.

Extensive travel services to nineteen locations: Caldera, Aldruhn, Vivec Foreign Quarter, Vivec Temple, Seyda Neen, Sadrith Mora, Dagon Fel, Gnisis, Ghostgate, Balmora, Khuul, Vos, Tel Vos, Maar Gan, Tel Mora, Tel Branora, Hla Oad, Tel Fyr, and even the top of the volcano itself -- Dagoth Ur. Additionally, The bartender on the roof can transport you to any of the four Ashlander camps – that’s 23 locations in all!

Cleaned with TESAME and Enchanted Editor.

Thanks for looking!!

Changes from version 4.0:
• Three guar pets – Obi, Stanley, and Marley – who are all full companions.
• Added a new bedroom for the guar pups.
• NO Land editing at all to eliminate any possible conflicts with any nearby mods.
• Fast-travel services have been expanded and refined and handle companions well. All fast-travel teleport areas have been double-checked for smooth arrivals.
• A new teleport ring has been added, sitting on the alchemy table.
• Ladder added to the side of the house for quick access to the restaurant.
• A few minor decoration adjustments.

Changes from version 3.6:
• Rescaled the interior from 2.0 down to 1.5. Much nicer at 1.5!
• Thoroughly refined interior decoration due to rescaling while carefully maintaining the look and feel of the old Home.
• Made Obi a companion guar (works best with if you have at least one of the Morrowind expansions).
• Added a fireplace barbecue in the diningroom, complete with chimney.
