The Race: Morient Elves ("Morient" means "deathly") Essentially, I made this race so I could try a really fun, challenging game. So far, with the difficulty at 100, I've had a really good time. I was afraid the difficulty slider that high would make the game impossible, but actually it feels more balanced now, and I'm not a power-gamer type.

The Race: Morient Elves ("Morient" means "deathly")
Essentially, I made this race so I could try a really fun, challenging game. So far, with the difficulty at 100, I've had a really good time. I was afraid the difficulty slider that high would make the game impossible, but actually it feels more balanced now, and I'm not a power-gamer type. All stats start at 30, except luck, which starts at 100. There are only three skills affected by race: Spear 15, Unarmored 15, Illusion 15. Everything else is unaffected.

The Class: Poet (similar to a bard)
As the typical Suudmer guard, the Poet earns his respect in the community with his ability to wield not just a sharpened spear, but a sharpened tongue as well. He knows that many fights can be avoided through subtle persuasion and careful approach. He can be sneaky when necessary, and he studies the School of Illusion to make himself less vulnerable and gain the element of surprise. Within the Suudmer community, the Poet is one of the most well-respected members, and not just any Morient Elf is permitted to wield the Poet's spear.

The Birthsign: The Spring of Tyre
This birthsign is really for the Moreint Elves. It gives them two powers. "The Undead Horde" allows them to summon five skeletons at once. However, the player is instantly paralyzed for 25 seconds, then each skeleton vanishes one by one, in five second increments. That means the one skeletons leaves at 30, one at 35, etc. until the last one leaves after a whole minute. The second power, "Cursed Blessing" casts Sanctuary on the player for 50 to 100 points for 60 seconds. However, for the first 30 of those seconds, the player is weakened against Magicka and Normal Weapons for 25 to 50 points. So even though the player gains the huge Sanctuary bonus for 60 seconds, half of that time they are very weak to any attack that manages to hit through the sanctuary.
