Description

In Vanilla Morrowind there are two way of getting Bonemeal. The first, being in burial urns, and the second from skeletons. What this mod does is provide another method of getting it, via crushing bones. All vanilla static bones are now able to be picked up, and you will also be able to get bones from the undead.

There are two way of getting, crushing the bones. You can pay an alchemist to do it for you, or you can obtain an Urn of Magical Bone crushing, one of which can be bought from Ra'Virr in Balmora.

There are two versions of this mod. Version one replaces all instances of Bonemeal in Burial urns with a new ingrediant called Ashes, for if you like me and find it strange that Dunmer crush the bones of their dead. The Second version No Ashes, does not include this feature.

As of version 1.1 there is now a Wrye Mash replacer included in the mod, so that you can convert any mods that add new static bones to ones that can be picked up and crushed.

Lastly, if anyone would be interested in making a mesh for a more manual way of crushing bones, as apposed the magical urn that I'm using for a substitute, I’d be most appreciative. I’m not using Mortar and Pestles because scripting them to work around the alchemy menu would be too conflict heavy, and using the mesh for a new object would be (at least to me) far too confusing. So for now magically done it is. Granted, those Alchemist and Apothecaries that don’t have urn probably do have a way of manually doing it.

This mod does change one of the Vanilla leveled lists, random_bonemeal. It removes that bonemeal from the list and replaces it with various bones. So you might want to merge the leveled lists when using this mod.

With the 1.2 update, there is the possibility of collecting two types of skulls. This is because the vanilla static skulls are smaller than the vanilla misc skulls, to avoid conflicts and floating skulls I created a second skull item that is slightly smaller, but otherwise matches the original misc skull. I replaced the mesh for the static item to do this so that as long as you have any skull replacer mods you use overwrite this one it should still be compatible.

This mod does conflict slightly with The Cutting Room Floor mod, both mods change the removes the bonemeal from urn_ash00. My mod replaces them with a new ingredient Ashes, The Cutting Room Floor replaces if with the vanilla ingredient Gravedust. If you're using both mods, pick which version you want and have that one later in the load order. If you aren't using the ashes, you might as well use the No Ashes esp as the Ashes are not added anywhere else currently.
