In vanilla game, crossbow reload animations are lightning fast - you can essentially have the same rate of fire as with bows. Which is, of course, not realistic - crossbows are known to be hard to reload.

This mod makes crossbow reload animations twice as slow - now you'll need to time your shots better, which adds to the diversity between projectile weapon types.

Consequently, it makes reload animations look better, as now you can actually make out what your character is doing.
