DESCRIPTION:
More Dunmers aka "Morrowind Belongs to the Dunmers" is a mod that changes 105 non-relevant (not involved in any major quests), non-Dunmer NPC's to Dunmers, thereby increasing the native population on the island. The changes include also conversion of 1 non-Dunmer NPC into a Bosmer (on Vvanderfell) and 4 NPC's in Mournhold to Dunmers. Discover Morrowind anew.

The mod is lore-friendly, the NPC's have proper unique names (only 4 NPC's have been left with their original names, all of those names are Elven names, one NPC was left with a nickname "Masque"), there are no changes in the settlements founded by the Empire and little changes in regions influenced by House Hlaalu.

Some NPC's have also minor changes in their Class, Faction and equipment. Here are five random examples:

 Additional lore fixes:

Borwen is a Bosmer scout, who can be found at The Covenant in Tel Mora. Oddly, she is the only non-Dunmer Ashlander in the game, a fact which she seems to be unaware of. Ask her about "Dunmer", and she will say (like all Ashlanders): "We are the Dunmer, the dark-skinned, red-eyed Elven people who followed the Prophet Veloth out of the southwest generation upon generation ago, settling here in Morrowind(...)". She is not involved in any quests.
NEW NAME: Yisattuna Sarantshippi

Sinia is a Redguard commoner located at the Maar Gan Shrine. She is not involved in any quests.
NEW NAME: Karsi Vadram
NEW FEATURES: New Class: Pilgrim

Fraki is a Nord pilgrim located in the Holamayan Monastery. He is not involved in any quests.
NEW NAME: Llerem Sarethil

 Additional OCD fixes:

Landa is a Redguard warrior and Retainer for House Telvanni. She can be found in Telvanni Canton plaza near the Telvanni Tower entrance. She is not involved in any quests.
NEW NAME: Irvasa Arehas
NEW FEATURES: Removed Chitin Boots, gave her matching Bonemold Boots.

Additional in-depth lore (please note that this is the only instance of "in-depth lore" addition in this mod):

Leles Birian is a Breton mage who can be found by the road in the Ascadian Isles region. Leles is the Master trainer for Destruction, and also offers high-level training in Mysticism and Restoration, as well as a selection of mostly high-level spells. She is not involved in any quests.
NEW NAME: Alval Uvani
NEW FEATURES: New Gender: Male. He wears now different Common clothes.
OTHER INFO: Alval Uvani is a TES: Oblivion character. He is a traveling Dunmer merchant, a master of Destruction and a target for execution by Dark Brotherhood (he is in fact a member of the Black Hand, the ruling council of the Dark Brotherhood).
TES: Oblivion takes place just six years after TES: Morrowind. Leles Birian is very close to the ruins of Ald Sotha, headquarters of Dark Brotherhood on Vvanderfell.

Full list of alterated NPC's with their detailed descriptions can be found in the Readme tab and in the download package.

There's an optional file, "More Dunmers - No Tribunal.esp", that requires just the base game and therefore makes changes just only on the Vvardenfel. Use only one file at a time.

COMPATIBILITY / TECH INFO:
The mod is compatible with Morrowind Rebirth and any other overhaul that heavily changes or expands the cities and/or game landscape. More Dunmers plug-in was on the bottom of the load list during the testing.

Optional Morrowind Rebirth patch changes 38 generic non-Dunmer NPC's, added with Morrowind Rebirth, to Dunmers. This patch is an ESP replacer for Morrowind Rebirth v3.81. If you want to use "More Dunmers" with this patch remember to put "Morrowind Rebirth 3.81.esp" in the load order BEFORE "More Dunmers.esp". Full list of alterated NPC's with their descriptions can be found in the download package.

The mod is NOT COMPATIBLE with LGNPC (Less Generic NPC's) and other mods that significantly overhaul vanilla NPC's.

Stricte technical info:
Possible conflicts can also occur with mods that use vanilla NPC's names and/or races in the dialogues and mods that overhaul two small vanilla quests: 'Buckmoth Alms' for Imperial Cult (Journal entries: IC10_cienne, IC10_dular, IC10_Hoki, IC10_malpenix, IC10_merthierry, IC10_tauryon) and 'Pledge from Canctunian Ponius', a quest also for the Imperial Cult (Journal entry: IC14_Shazgob). As far as I know, there are no mods that overhaul those two quests.

The mod changes names of 16 Interior Cells (just for the record, I tested those Cells with overhaul mods and no conflicts or errors occurred):

"Cienne Sintieve: Alchemist" to "Saldena Herram: Alchemist"
"Malpenix Blonia: Trader" to "Thadus Mathari: Trader"
"Pellecia Aurrus's House" to "Sindesi Llenalu's House"

"Jerian Dolbanitte's Shack" to "Lloresu Drethan's Shack"
"Mush-Mere's Shack" to "Birvam Retlo's Shack"
"Rostlogi's Shack" to "Ulveni Revethyl's Shack"

Hla Oad:
"Relien Rirne's Shack" to "Serylo Girayne's Shack"

"Helga's Shack" to "Gistel Retryn's Shack"

Maar Gan:
"Garry's Hut" to "Sereol Folvyn's Hut"

The mod renames 3 misc items (no changes have been made to the items ID):
"Cienne Sintieve's Key" (key_ciennesintieve_01) to "Saldena Herram's Key"
"Malpenix Blonia's Key" (key_malpenixblonia_01) to "Thadus Mathari's Key"
"Thorek's Key" (key_thorek) to "Tives' Key"

The mod renames also 1 activator:
Indoor banner "Cienne Sintieve: Alchemist" (furn_bannerd_alchemy_01_ald_in) to "Saldena Herram: Alchemist"

No changes have been made to the NPC's ID's. Only their names have been changed.
You can find more information on the NPC's in the Readme tab and in the download package.

Mod has been cleaned with Enchanted Editor and TES3cmd.

KNOWN (MINOR) ISSUES:
Enabling the mod while standing in front of an NPC that has some changes in clothing/armor can cause a situation that this NPC will still keep his old inventory (but he will become a Dunmer).

To prevent this from happening, make a clean save, in a "safe" Exterior or Interior Cell (preferably in your player home), that means a Cell that doesn't have overhauled NPC's, and then enable the mod.
If you enabled the mod while standing in front of a NPC and his new inventory hasn't loaded, exit the current Cell, move to a "safe" Cell, save the game, exit the game, disable "More Dunmers", launch game, save again, exit the game, enable "More Dunmers", play.

Remember that it's recommended to start a New Game with new mods in your load order and always remember to backup your saves.

PERMISSIONS:
More Dunmers, like all my other mods, resources and concepts, can be copied, modified, used in other mods, reuploaded and distributed on other sites WITHOUT my permission, you are free to use them as you want, I don't need a credit, you can even sign those mods and resources with your own name or nickname. From the gamers for the gamers.

BUT if one of my mods uses external resources (models, meshes, textures and alike), please remember to put a credit for the author of those resources in your mod description.

More Dunmers - Morrowind Rebirth Patch uses Morrowind Rebirth by johanrosen aka Trancemaster_1988 as a base mod, therefore permissions and distribution rules for this release has been described in the Morrowind Rebirth documentation.
