About this mod

replaces textures of cyborgs and an item or two in the associated mod.

Permissions and credits
This is a texture replacer for the Dwemer Cyborgs mod. It may aslo work with Sobitol but i am not sure if the two use the same folder for textures. In my personal game files they both do. I have also added a new optional file that attempts to color correct them to look more like a bronze skyrim style texture. if you go for that sort of thing.

This makes the textures place on the model better, and changed the skin to make them look a bit more like what i think a dwemer robot should look like. So they are a bit darker and dingier. They also have gemstone eyes befitting a dwemer artificial life form. Some of the UVs were tweaked a bit but for the most part the models were not changed in nifskope except to add new textures. I have also included replacement texture for a couple of other items that are presented in the arena in this picture. One that i will not include as of yet is the texture replacers for the soul core. placing those few textures in the file would cause them to clash with the other dwemer tile sets so it will have to wait until i post my grand dwemer texture unification mod. Which will include all architecture items and armor. it may or may not include weapons, but i really dont see the need for altering the weapons textures when there are some good mesh and skin replacers out there.

Anyway. to install this first make sure your folders are named the same in your data files. In linux make sure if the folders and files are captialized, to make them lower case. Windows is case agnostic so it wont matter if the folders are capital or not, these will overwrite the meshes and textures.

linux, on the other hand, has to have identical names for it to overwrite. that means the same exact names, extensions too. whatever is lower case should also be lower case in the replacement files. whatever is uppercase should also be identical in the replacement files. so either change the existing files, or change the new ones or you will have duplicate files with the same names and mixed case. if you have already prepped your folders in a linux install for all game files to be lower case, and all second tier folders to be lower case. then all you have to do is rename all your mods second tier folders (a,b,c,x) to lower case and all files (nif, dds, tga etc) to lower case to overwrite. if you dont know how to prep a linux install of morrowind for easy pluginless replacer mod overwrite, then just google "morrowind linux data files lower case" and im sure there is a tutorial out there.

Credit goes to Henkbein for the original mod. I also would like tothank RR mods for their wonderful replacement mesh for the soul core, which is one of the dwemer artifacts.

Textures made by me based off of the great unwrap job done by Henkbein, if it was not for that then it would have been a nightmare.
