Jerry the Skeleton by Salaa

For Dabuschckah

This mod adds a skeleton companion named Jerry. He's in the basement of the Balmora Mages Guild. Talk to him and you should get a topic called "instruct Jerry" (if you don't, try exiting the conversation and doing it again).

You have options to make him follow you, make him wait, make him immortal/mortal, and dismiss him. If you have Tribunal, you can also access Jerry's inventory using Tribunal's companion share feature. Jerry will also give you a magic skull which can be used to calm him down if he gets into a fight with someone you don't want him to fight.

For compatibility, etc, please view the readme on the "Readme" tab.

Now with Testimonials!
Just wanted to tell you I've been having a blast with Jerry.  Ran into an interesting situation, though - we came up against a "Nag", from the Morrowind Comes Alive mod, who really pounded us hard with damage speed spells.  By the time we were done, Jerry's speed was down to 19!  It took forever to get him to the Caldera Mage's Guild Hall - he ran in slow motion the whole way.  I bought him a Restore Speed potion, but he wouldn't drink it.

I finally had to travel to Balmora with him and have a special Restore Speed 1 Point on Target spell made, which I had a 21 percent chance of casting, and spent the next three days casting and casting and casting, sleeping, casting and casting...  Finally got him back up to speed, and increased my Restore skill by six points.  (I had actually increased Jerry's speed in the console to 75 so he could keep up with me.)

Unfortunately, soon thereafter he disappeared en route between Balmora and Caldera via the Mage's Guild fast travel.  Took an ebony shield and ebony broadsword with him - he probably sold them and is now down in Cancun living it up, drinking Mai Thai's that run out between his ribs.

I used the console to recreate him, but now I'm afraid to give him good weapons.  I discovered, however, that using the practice dummy (in the basement of my Mudcrab Island house, it's actually a creature) while Jerry is around is a bad idea ... he attacks the dummy and you can't get him to stop!

Leaving the bookshop is fun too -- I end up standing in the same place as Jerry, looking out through his ribs. "HEY LOOK EVERYBODY!  I'M THE HEART OF LORKAN!!"
