Travel to Gnisis to find a boatman on the river who'll take you to Zhalfirim Manor. It's got a lot of storage space and it's a good size - not too big; not too small. Also, a ring comes with the house that'll teleport you back to it from any location; just put it on (it can be found on the round table in the Preparation Room.
